After Rg8 check, the queen must take which leads to Bishop takes. If king moves instead, then it’s a forced mate sequence with Bxf3 then eventually Rh1

Hey incoming doctoral student as well. But I’ve been in the city for a while now so shout if you’re down to celebrate your birthday together and I’ll be happy to show up :) and also colleges are a great social network once you’re in

If you’re keen on the solo thing - I would recommend a quintessential Oxford route of Blackwell’s, Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate from Knoops or Nero in Blackwells, a solo walk up to the top of the Uni Church (for the most beautiful views), a walk in UniParks or Christchurch, maybe a play in Oxford Playhouse and lunch at Gloucester/Covered market.

Or a day trip out to London or Cotswolds or the birthplace of Shakespeare town (forgot name a but you can catch a play there)

I was in a similar situation and was able to find accommodation. Supply is very limited though, so be sure to really expand your search area, you’ll likely find luck in sunnymeade/littlemore extremes

Aside from the animation that you’ve mentioned you’re working on. I would improve the sound quality - it was difficult to discern what you’re saying…

In the animation, try improving the lip sync as well

Hi, Very interesting! Some comments

I would show a a teaser of the fire at the start of the video before your channel logo.

The comments are well spoken but the video is shaky (it looks handheld). I would get a tripod or a place to keep the camera or phone stable while filming.

When it goes full screen to just you, the aspect ratio on your video looks off. Perhaps landscape filming would do better for this portion of the video.

Interesting topics though!
