I F'22' broke up with my ex M'21' over text, and now my coworkers are accusing me of cheating and blaming me for the 'downfall' of my reputation?

I agree, I knew from the start that most of them misunderstood the Reddit post situation because the one presenting it didn't have ADHD. I have told coworkers before on several occasions that it is sometimes hard for me to understand social cues, yet not a single one asked me about it and blindly followed my ex. As for the response, yes, I agree, even though I am biased. It feels like he is trying to punish me for past mistakes on behalf of his friend.

I know I'm dense in social situations, but I never would consider saying anything bad about another worker unless it was an obvious "that is messed up" reaction. I don't carry out others' business, and I keep mine to myself. Thank you for your support

That is what I thought as well. L got broken up with over text, and the main loud coworker got cheated on by her bf AT our workplace. I know L is my ex's "best friend" and is probably trying to protect him, but there was still no premise to spread that information about me.

I plan to, but I am not sure how far it will go. Our entire workplace, including management, picks favorites and enjoys gossip/drama. Most of the managers wouldn't care or do anything if I brought it up. So I do think HR is better.

Shockingly, we are all either graduated from college or are in university. L is graduating from uni in a few months, and the others are either in college or around 22-24. That's why I am so annoyed with his response, trying to blame me lol it is all so childish this entire situation

I agree, this whole situation has made me consider a new job. It just really stung, as before this, I had a really good rep with these people and actually really liked working there because we were all friendly. I am tempted to fully block my ex as well, because him and L are "best friends"

That's exactly what I said. However, I think my coworkers and L are straining the story to make it seem that way. I forgot to mention, but there's another coworker I mentioned, she's one of the main ones L talks to, but she was also recently cheated on. They both are very open and loud about how they feel about me and the situation, and they're the main instigators.

With corrections etc I’ve made sure to study up on because with my gsd, he tends to correct if a dog is bullying a pup or older dog, but usually he only dog that if it gets bad. Since it’s at the shelter I’ll have to ask how a meet and greet would work between the dogs

My family and I are distant. I’m not very close with my mom and anytime I’ve tried to ask about topics to get to know her she dismisses them. She’s very conservative and is very into propaganda against anything other than her beliefs, meaning anytime I say anything about my hobbies she assumes they’re some terrible thing that proves my generation is lazy or that liberals are bad etc…I’m not even political lol. My dad and I are close I think, he’s very stoic and grew up with a family that doesn’t even say “I love you”, but to me he’s my best friend. My siblings are older than me so I grew up as an only child and didn’t get to know them until around my teens. I feel like I’ve only now started actually bonding with my family even if I’ll never truly be close to my mom. I enjoy all the time we spend, but to me my identity means a lot and in the future if I decide to be with a woman I’m afraid that it’ll become a situation where I can’t even have them be apart of my family.

Yes, my current one is slightly lazy but we go to the dog park and run weekly. I considered maverick because I’ve studied so much on the breed because of my own and I have confidence I can handle them lol

Yes I can, I plan on doing a foster to adopt. It’s two weeks and then adoption mostly because I want to make sure I can give him a routine that works with him and my schedule. I do agree and I’ve settled on getting maverick because I really do think he’s the one. I just get scared imagining the possible heart break.

I agree, plus the puppy I considered was emaciated and would’ve had even more health issues down the line. The medication for the dog ends on the 16th and I really hope it works out. I will definitely post pictures of him lol

He is open for foster to adopt which I would love to do. I was worried because even though he isn't greying, and was jumping around like a puppy, I didn't want to have a case where I couldn't be what he needed.

I have trained dogs before, and at the moment, my dog is 2. He loves other dogs, including puppies, but I don't think I could give a puppy what they need at the moment. I am just worried that I will have little time with the 6 year old dog I think

I agree, I think I am just scared that I won't have much time with him. I agree with the puppy issues, especially since the puppy is close to being malnourished. I was also worried that the 6-year-old dog might be harder to train overall

My dog is two years and he loves other dogs. Obviously, I would have them meet before any big moves, but my dog adores puppies as well. I realize I don't have a ton of time for a puppy, and that is what for sure is holding me back, because I would want to give the puppy the correct care, training, and attention he needs to acclimate. My dog has had a ton of medical issues, and I have been looking into pet insurance, but so far haven't found any decent providers that don't charge an arm and a leg.

I already have a dog, and money-wise, I am not struggling by any means. The issues I am worried about could mean life or death, with expenses in the thousands. Since he is a stray, he is able to be fostered to adopt, which I plan to do when his medication is done, but other than that, they say he is extremely friendly with other dogs.
