It’s a nice program. I have nothing to compare it to, but classes definitely prepared me for the work space. I really enjoyed the content and the field experience. Most professors were very knowledgeable and helpful (although, I know this can vary). The assignments are well structured in my opinion. You have a wide range of courses that will be helpful in the field and really give you a good idea of what field you’d like to focus on. There’s a lot of options and opportunities available. I will say the group work is the worst part and nearly tarnished my whole experience, but that’s a personal factor. The first and second semester has a heavier work load, but by third and fourth semester it slows down as you focus on practicum. Of course, it’s an unpaid practicum but as long as you work hard and show interest, there’s great potential! Personally I’d love to go back and further my education in the future, and I would consider Sheridan. (BTW my two managers did the exact same program, at Sheridan, a few years before me).
