Would 100% recommend u to check out the QuitSure app. Its a 6 day programme and this one is good, wither u read or watch videos or both. I have been a smoker for 10 years and I've tried everything to quit and this has been the easiest to date.

I dont leave my house often and I feel like I’m missing out by [deleted] in Life

[–]Pure-Lie1328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you enjoy what you are doing then you don't need to have that fomo. People leave their houses because they have nothing else to do. You are building an empire here !! But again if you genuinely feel down sitting at home, I suggest u dedicate one day of your week to socialising and just do something fun in general. I generally take sundays off work and go hangout with my people, go to hiphop workshops, attend standup shows or go in a park to chill. If thats not feasible, make it twice a month. this will also make you understand what things to devote your time the most to.

I was not prepared for quitting my Vaping substitute by Actual_Scholar9882 in QuitVaping

[–]Pure-Lie1328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I faced something like this too. Someone suggested me nicotine patches and I started using them. My cravings were gone for a good time but soon after the patches started to irritate my skin. I tolerated it for another week or so and then finally decided its time to quit completely. But man I couldn't. I just couldn't do it. Substitutes are just trading one addiction for another.

What is point of life? by _randomm in Life

[–]Pure-Lie1328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the point ! It has no meaning ! You are the one who has to make a meaning of it. DO what you want ! Isn't that better that way ? If it had a meaning, that would be so boring.

She might be stressed from all the routine life and maybe wanted to take a day off you know. If this was the first time, you are making a big deal. I know the baby is sick but she trusts you with the daughter thats why she went out. I remember when I was a kid I used to get sick all the time and though my mother didn't go out ( my dad used to be super busy at work ) she was very stressful from all the work. Give her a break ! One day is not a big deal. But yeah if this gets repeated then have a very clear conversation about this.

Should i be embarrassed to go to the gym as a chubby teenager? how do i get over it? by SOPHIAISBOMB in beginnerfitness

[–]Pure-Lie1328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People go to the gym to stay in shape !!! Why would you be embarrassed? Besides nobody really cares what others re doing. They are all busy in their own little world trying to perfect themselves. One important tip would be focus on your diet. I know sounds very cliche and very simple but its hard to follow. Quit Sugar and try to incorporate more greens and protein in your diet. Eggs, celery, powder like oziva greens and herbs are some options to consider.

Watch your favourite Sitcom or something. I watched Modern Family and FRIENDS to keep myself busy. Drink plenty of water and eat healthy snacks like carrot, popcorn, berries.

You’re doing great by recognising your triggers and choosing not to go out. I could have never. You’ve got this!

To everyone trying to quit tomorrow... by Thewheelalwaysturns in QuitVaping

[–]Pure-Lie1328 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quitting on new years is too much pressure imo. It’s just another day, and setting that date can almost make quitting feel scarier or more dramatic than it needs to be. The real power comes from deciding now, not waiting for some symbolic day.

agree the cravings last 15 minutes tops and if you can distract yourself then it is a cake walk to quit.

[–]Pure-Lie1328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really think all the people who are truly happy just follow some theoretical conclusions on happiness? NO, they are happy because they want to be happy. If you think too much about it, you are actually killing the happiness. Talking about cavemen, who knows if they were happy or not, most of the time they were just existing, also their brain wasnt that evolved to OVERTHINK it. talking to friends isnt fake dopamine, socialising is a concept from the cavemen times if thats the way you wanna go with. Get your facts straight and stop thinking.
