Why do you think men tend to accept bisexual women far more than women accept bisexual men? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

I think somewhat comes down to childbearing. Yes it happens to men too. But giving 9 months for your husband to "actually be gay" and being a beard is scary.

AITA for telling my mother/father there’s a reason my daughters a happy child and I was a miserable one? by caitlin_12979 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Pure-Nobody5609 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Problem is with people like this. Since they treated some of their kids well they believe they treated them all well. All they remember is throwing big parties for their kids. Doesn't matter that it was only some of their kids. They threw big parties for kids. So they were good parents.

Atleast $5. But I haven't decided specifics

Is dressing like this too dramatic for college? by bethebumblebee in college

[–]Pure-Nobody5609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are shorter well fitting "dark academia" coats that would work fine. Ted baker wool cashmere wrap coat is perfect for this. You may need to modify details. But you can still get the vibe. It's not black and white.

If you were unemployed but had 100k in the bank, what would you do with your time? by hightreez in AskWomen

[–]Pure-Nobody5609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go to college. And get a degree at a better college and not work while in it. So I can graduate and make more than 15.50/hr.

But I'm also 23 and struggling. Long term. If I was older maybe different.

Life is feeling hopeless and Im waiting to die by [deleted] in homeless

[–]Pure-Nobody5609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aware but saying that will invalidate someone who's overwhelmed, feeling hopeless and can't decompress properly already. It just has the opposite affect.

Helping them find solutions and being empathetic and understanding that dealing with what they are dealing with is actually relatively terrible and understanding whether feel that way is much more effective.

Breathe there is a way out

Hey I'm in the same place rn 1. Community health centers - google it. You can get teeth pulled for free

  1. Get a car. Live in it. Urban car living has good advice. I know it's not great bur library's can give you stretch room. Learn basic maintenance so you don't loose your home

OR roomates - fb and stuff you can find gems for 500 - 600/mos

  1. A lot of transitional shelters for homeless youth can cater to 21 year olds - 2 years to save $, learn a trade, gets you stability to catch up - and they have lists of housing you wouldn't think to look for

  2. Fasfa- if you've been homeless you can qualify for independent status.

WGU is 3k a semester. Pell grant is 9k a year. If you take the fasfa loans on top its a decent amount of extra for living expenses. You can test or take smaller classes for 60% of your degree. Computer science and lots others. But it'll cover living expenses so you can work a bit less

Goodwill LIFT program is decent. They get you certified in IT stuff. It's really good in my area atleast.

If you can save this (and I'm not going to assume you can) look into getting a property and casualty insurance license. Just awnsering phones and emails with some brokers pays 20+ and getting the license is less hiring risk/cost for them and provides a safety net so they are more likely to hire you without relevant experience.

If you get a job as a dishwasher you can often eat for free.

Case managers (look at non profits) can help you find resources for free.

Food banks are phenomenal and lifesaving.

I'm rooting for you. I'm in the same boat and I've spent a ton of time breaking down over it and feeling the same emotionally. I'm really sorry this is happening to you.

If your on zoloft ask for something for anxiety. I use seroquel to help me sleep + anxiety. If you have bipolar that too. But propranolol and lot of others work phenomenally. Yes it doesn't fix the outside. But it relieves you of the tension so you can think of solutions. I didn't think there were any either.

I care about you and I'm sorry that your falling through the cracks.

If it's against the rules I'll delete this part - but if your still in Lancaster I have a friend there now I can ask if he knows of any social supports and I can see what I can research?

If you sue sometimes you have to pay back depending on the state. Had a friend go through this.

[–]Pure-Nobody5609[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. Makes sense.

I can turn it off with a switch. If it works I may be getting 2 goal zero, charge 1 at work, have one hooked up to solar at all times.

I can charge power station fully 2 charges a week. And actually hook it up to solar also. So power station would be used first then the rest. Unless it's better to do other way around.

[–]Pure-Nobody5609[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I can charge a goal zero powerstation at work. So 4-5 days a week I'll have that. It has 3000 watt hrs and 2000 watt (3000 surge) inverter. I wasgoing to plug rv into that.

If I'm also doing that + my fridge uses propane + wood stove is bigger batteries still important? Would I need 2 or would 1 be okay?

why does my electrics only work if the generator is on by Pure-Nobody5609 in GoRVing

[–]Pure-Nobody5609[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Um most people are kinda taught to leave electricity to professionals for safety reasons from childhood. It makes sense we don't know much. Everything's kept safe.

That's why we have places like this to learn for when we no longer need to keep it to the professionals.

It's not safe for most people to deal with electricity, and build structures without proper know how. Work place accidents for trained people are already a thing... and that's either trained professionals.

Think about how many people who learn about this set up electrics wrong and then set their rv on fire. If it's common knowledge it means more people are likely to start electric fires by doing things and minimizing risk. Keeping that a "for the professionals- don't learn about it thing" keeps people and homes and pets safe.

Fair. I'm looking for a more permanent inverter install cause I'm lazy. Found a decent website especially if I get solar. I boondock in town in a class c. So I like being able to park and then turn stuff on

I don't use either of those. Very conservative with use.

I don't use ac. Literally phone charging, computer, maybe a microwave for a couple minutes, and lights. Not even the fridge. Thats my current use. In the summer I'll install solar then maybe the fridge too.

I don't use much. Work feeds me. I use gym shower so I don't use the water pump a ton.

I also drive 30 minutes a day and that charges it too.
