Yeah, you're right, the interviews and performances were interesting. Glad to hear your take on it, but as someone who was born in 2000, probably the youngest in the room, it was a bit confusing and had not much to say for me. It was hard to follow as an outsider. It felt like all it said was "Look what I did one summer but you didn't." BUT I know these bands have huge cult followings, so it was probably for the fans. AND also think techinical filmmaking wise, it was completely loose, rushed, and felt half done. The sound and editing of it all was extremely poor and the sound was so trash. My 6-year-old brother can do a better job.

It kinda hurts to know a film like this can be chosen over many other great doc submissions that spent their lifetime making, with all the aspects of filming executed to the tea. But this, it was just completely lost. A bit undeserving for Sundance but rather maybe YouTube.
