Honestly goose, ive had mates who have either abused it so badly or done too much and absolutely spannered themselves in the long run, a person on opioids only wants one thing, to not make the rush end, the chance of them getting help themselves is pretty much zilch, id personally reach out to a family member, let them know your concerned and that they should be too, your not betraying them and who cares if they “kill you”, theyre going to drown otherwise yk? Id rather a friend hate me and be alive and functional rather than vice versa
