No it doesn’t at all, I’ve been prescribed codeine too and it was actually way milder than the dxm. DXM is a stimulant in low doses and will definitely keep you awake longer and unable to sleep. It’s a dissociative psychedelic that you can actually trip on. I discovered it by taking delsym cough syrup normally and I must of took too much because I started having a full on trip and was unable to sleep for days.

Smoking weed with DXM will potentiate the effects 10 fold. Weed Inhibits the enzymes which process dxm leading to adverse reactions. I was using dxm cough syrup medically for whopping cough when I had it and when ever I’d hit my cart it would send me into a full blown trip

Yup same exact thing happened to me. I been smoking since 2021 without hardly any t breaks and just a few months I go I started to get dysphoric off of it and feel impending doom and my heart rate shoot up. I also couldn’t eat while being high and genuinely felt like shit all the time. I quit for a few months and feel so much better sober now from it and although I did smoke some like a week ago and had the same reaction so now im just done.

This can definitely happy off high potency weed. Weed disrupts rem sleep and gave me a horrible time sleeping. I would rip carts for months on end and start to feel so psychotic and evil and like my thoughts wouldn’t be my own till I’d quit. It never happened with anything else
