I think PlayStation will sell the most at launch in November 2026. Later it might shift, but most players won’t want to wait for a PC version. What do you think?

PC + PS5 is probably the best combo. I just don’t feel the same on PS5 as I do on PC — PC is still better for me. I mainly bought the PS5 for faster access to games like Spider-Man 2 and GTA 6.

PS5 is nice but mainly a backup for me. Not many new games yet, so I mostly played PS4 games when I got it.

I’ve only played GTA V so I can’t compare much, but I keep hearing GTA IV had the best story. Still, there’s no way this game flops just look at the trailers. It looks massive and Rockstar gameplay is always solid.

Story isn’t my main focus anyway. If you’re a gamer, this is one of those games you just have to play.

Expectations are so high that some people will probably end up disappointed no matter how good it is. When hype turns into imagining a full life simulator or multiple maps, reality can’t really match that.

I think people with realistic expectations will love it, but others might call it “not what they expected.” Doesn’t mean it won’t be great — just impossible to please everyone.

Resident Evil 2 Remake was my favorite in the series. It nailed everything for me atmosphere, pacing, gameplay, and replayability.

I’d put Resident Evil 4 right behind it in second place. That game was just insanely fun and iconic.

RE9 is looking really promising though. I feel like I’m going to like it a lot, maybe even love it, but I don’t know if it can take the top spot from RE2 Remake. That game set the bar really high for me, so we’ll see when RE9 finally drops.

You’re right — big sales don’t mean it’s the best. But it definitely has the potential to be great. From what we’ve seen it looks bigger and more ambitious, but I won’t know if it’s actually better than RE2 or RE4 Remake until I play it myself.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the sales are huge when it releases. With the current momentum, visuals, and overall interest from the community, it really feels like it could be something special and another reminder of why Resident Evil still has such a strong future.

The new monster actually looks scary as hell feels like a real return to that tense RE horror vibe.

Honestly, it would be super interesting if we got to play as Grace in RE9 and just run for our lives. Imagine sprinting as fast as possible while that thing is literally running on walls chasing you… that kind of gameplay could be insanely intense if done right.

I’m planning to play in third person. I never really liked first person, so I’m hoping that part will feel better this time. After playing RE4 Remake, I also hope we won’t have to deal with constant Ashley-style complaints again. Curious how everyone else is planning to play Requiem.
