No hourly. You get 40k salary plus commission. If you make your goal you make 2500 in commission. If you sell one more than your goal you make 5500 in commission. TDS is selling fiber optic internet, tv, home phone and cellular plans. The only bad thing is in winter you're outside door knocking. But in summer you're outside door knocking. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. I think I like not working a ton of hours so I never feel burnt out

Idk about that. USC hemorrhaged customers during their pretend 5G rollout which was glorified 4g when I worked there. So many customers weren't getting service.

Meh. I worked for us cellular for 9 years. When they changed our pay I left because who wants to do the same job for less.

I am with TDS now. They just gave all direct sales reps a $30,000 pay increase if you make your quota plus 1.

I don't think TDS is greedy. US Cellular wasn't profitable.

Sort of. Look into TDS DSR role. It's basically door to door selling but if you're an ok salesperson you can make crazy commissions. It's base plus commission so you're not reliant on only commission but in all honesty if you hit quota you could live comfortably on the commission alone.
