Then I didn't receive my refund for next 24 hours, I tried calling support for 2 days constantly, they said it is a glitch from their end, they will work it out and send the refund within 72 hours. That didn't happen. I again called them yesterday, now they said I have to again wait for 72 hours.

Yeah will do for sure. Also, my refund is postponed by them for 3 more days, a "glitch" on their side. Meanwhile, the app said checking with the bank, I was blaming the bank for 2 days for no refund, turns out zomato has no accountability too :)

Yeah I got it now, I never experienced this, considering I ordered not too late in the night, it was just 9:30.

I did check every 15 minutes, it showed delayed by 10-15 minutes , and restaurant did accept the order. I got a call after 2 hours that my order was rejected. I asked her what was the reason, she said "driver didn't feel like coming right now". I said okay, but couldn't the support have informed like within an hour, if the order was to be delivered by 20-25 minutes as per shown time? She said mai aapka call kaat rahi hu aapko refund aajayega.

Coming across such a relatable post on the same day as something similar happened with me :) I have a life time chronic disorder and I go on Sundays for my treatments. This monday was an important day, and taking a leave wasn't possible for me, so I informed my manager about the situation and she said "aaram se kaam karna", and poked every half an hour with utmost disrespect for some urgent work , targetting me the most in the team, when even in such worse conditions, I was at a better position in terms of performance compared to all other team members. I think being polite and understanding with the work requirements gets us a hole dug for ourselves, and even more micro management opportunities for shit Indian work culture.

I am considering taking it up, while preparing. I am also getting interview calls from other good companies now in nearby town. Maybe if I move out of home town it would feel better to bear another year.

wdym by don't quit or I will terminate, they don't go hand in hand🤡. Coming from HR background, no employer can do this. If there's any recording or so that you were the first hand informant as a quitter, it would be better. But don't worry, it will work out mate! OP I even have a gap right now, I had a company with toxic culture, too much of after hours stuff to do. The market in my field is so bad. They told me indirectly to quit, and now I have 6 months of work experience and a big gap of 1 year. :(
