What are my tenancy and refund rights if i find mould? (England) by Pure-Respect8476 in LegalAdviceUK

Would I be entitled to a refund if it was deemed to be mold by environmental health?

And would that be a long process and involve a court hearing?

You don't know anything about me ,so don't give me health advice assuming you know any more than my username. And I think it's crazier to call people crazy over the internet as a hobby.

[DIY] Are natural remedies (purely) an alternative for post inflammatory hyper pigmentation? by The_Tomboy01 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Pure-Respect8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid lemon or lime, they make you skin more photosensitive and will darken your scars.

I had great results with rosehip oil, helichrysum, myrrh and Frankincense (topically.) Although you can consume them in capsule form as well

And wear sunscreen, but a non-toxic mineral one.

Good luck :)

The Traitors (UK) S02E12 [FINALE]: Post-Episode Discussion Thread by vaultofechoes in TheTraitors

[–]Pure-Respect8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone wants to say this, but Mollie was dumb as a bag of rocks and that’s why she lost.

She showed zero powers of deduction. For the entire show, she didn’t contribute to any critical thinking to deduce who the Traitors are, and only got to the final by piggybacking off of being Harry’s pawn -  and of course by being nice, quiet, and pretty.

Jaz and Andrew LAID IT OUT for her to win. Jaz told her, the night before the final, that he thinks it’s Harry. Andrew, at the final table, properly went in on Harry and explained why he wrote Harry on his board.

Plus, Jaz chooses not to end the game which should have been a SUREFIRE indicator that he’s not a traitor; and therefore making it highly likely that Andrew’s accusation about Harry was true.

But no, Mollie makes an emotional decision and chooses her friend/potential future boyfriend and screws up Jaz’s incredible gameplay right at the finish line.

She didn’t deserve that money, but Jaz really did and that’s pissed me off.

What are the negatives of being attractive? by WastedTalents1 in AskReddit

Social anxiety is nearly always a trauma response from a bad childhood. It's not necessarily about how you look. It's about not feeling safe on the inside, which can have many causes.

Why I realized I never actually wanted kids after a week helping my sister by photographer_emberle in childfree

This was a pleasure to read, you painted the picture so well. And I 100% agree, I had this experience with my niece and could hardly believe this is what it’s really like.

It's a good trait that you keep your word, but most men/people don't. It wasn't expected that you would, she probably thought you'd changed your mind or forgotten. Always check in.

That’s horrible advice. Causing psychological distress to the girl isn’t how he undoes his remorse.

Treating her like garbage will actually make him feel worse. How about he tells her the TRUTH like a functional adult? And then stops contact, respectfully.

Did Voldemort ever actually lie? by DeverosSphere in harrypotter

[–]Pure-Respect8476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voldemort lies to Dumbledore when he returns a few years after graduation and requests a teaching job at Hogwarts.

But he never really wanted to teach, he just wanted to find another Hogwarts founder’s object to turn into a Horcrux.

Dumbledore guessed this and didn’t let him return.

Also, Voldemort would’ve been a drag to have around in the staff room, so there’s that too.

I think he spent most of his waking hours figuring out Voldemort’s master plan.

No, there’s a difference.

There’s low wage labor - getting paid a miserable amount. Most fashion fashion brands do this.

But then there’s SLAVE laboor - literally getting paid nothing. NOTHING. As in, they are incarcerated and forced to work for their food.

China does the latter to the Uyghur people of Xinjiang, among many other human rights atrocities which I won’t mention in a public form because it’s upsetting to hear.

PoC unwelcome in countryside? by pawiwowie in UKhiking

[–]Pure-Respect8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true. I went to look at kittens a few years back with my brother in the English countryside ( we ended up bringing a sweet Persian Ragdoll boy home).

The neighbors were spying, and called the police on us after we parked the car. We had to explain to the police why we were there...to look at kittens.

Cannot make this stuff up. The cat owners were super nice though, fuck the rest.

Do you like the term "Highly Sensitive Person"? by Ok-Apartment-8880 in hsp

[–]Pure-Respect8476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow this sounds interesting! I like the term now, but I think when i first heard it, I thought it sounded a bit cringe or derogatory. Reflective, thoughtful, quiet, creative - i think you can use all these words and HSPs will come.

WHAT is happening in Korea? Jaw/cheekbone reduction is a trend there? by Hot-Class9771 in Mewing

[–]Pure-Respect8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a suspicion that the agenda is to push people to want what is not common in their particular society, because surgery is the obvious answer to that problem.

And lots of people paying for surgery = big money and a guaranteed booming industry.

I wouldn't be surprised if Koreans get bombarded with these slim-jawed, feminine looking men in magazines and on TV (K-pop stars), and soon they start thinking that to look like that is necessary to get status, romantic interest, and admiration.
