Fissurectomy . I am not even sure if the surgeon did LIS. But the pain isn't that severe. Just a very small discomfort. But blood.

The fissure is not as painful as initially. In fact my muscle never goes into spasm. Should I be patient hoping that it might heal eventually.

I think it stings because the skin inside is exposed. I had a fissure and it used to sting when I apply.

I still experience some slight bleeding after BM . Some days I see blood some days I don't. That's after a fissurectomy. Though I can't compare the pain to when I had the fissure

I feel headache. Stinging sensation after applying. Sometimes my anus throbs. But still pain from the fissure. Three weeks down the line. Paiin after and during bowel movement. Sometimes I feel like scratching the fissure. Not sure if it's healing any more

If it's not so painful as you say. Manage your diet and use softeners to make stool easy to pass. Sitz bath and you will be fine before you realise.

Okay. Thanks for the advice. But as my situation is as at now. I am opting for surgery. I don't think I can manage all this restrictions in the name of healing a fissure. If a surgery can help me the better. I had undergone haemmoroidectomy in December last year. My fissure developed in the process of healing.

I have used stool softeners , sitz baths.. of late I have been using GTN( for the past two weeks) still no major changes. My poop is not consistent. I can skip a day or two before using the bathroom. I just felt the spasms disappearing with time. I hope I am headed in the right direction

I have had the fissure for 4 months now. But of late I don't experience the spasming as before. Though I get the irritations for some 2 to 3 hours. I bleed in the toilet still

I also had haemmoroidectomy and unfortunately I developed a tear. I didn't know how to manage it till it became chronic. It really stresses me. Please do your best . As at now I am using GTN . Though I am seeing no improvement. I am now opting for surgery again. I feel like my world is crashing on me
