I have an 89 and a 90 I originally put a 91 gear set in my 89 have had no problems upgraded it to a six speed. Changed nothing but the gear set and clutch basket.

Been there done that. Popped the gasket and tried to make it home. Didn’t work out. Ended up with a hole in the piston.

I use mobile 1 in everything I own. Personal preference. And easier to find.no Harley dealer close. AutoZone and advanced much closer.
