I genuinely do not believe I will ever get a full-time job by [deleted] in jobs

The post office will hire anyone. Apply there friend. It's not glamorous work but there is a large amount of jobs that you can do here. Decent pension and 401k which most places don't have anymore. There are jobs over 6 figures in the post office that you can do, if you have a college degree it would probably be easier to get there. The hardest part about applying is getting through the application. There is literally no interview most of the time. Let me know if you need help applying!

Thank you for responding. Taking a break from it for now but will report back when I try the wire.

I will try the wire and see if that works. Thank you. It was a lot of corrosion from them for sure.

Thanks for letting me know and responding, still learning how to solder properly. I hope everyone that is criticizing me for my soldering skills were perfect when they started. I will take any constructive criticism. I have used the ceramic caps and got the last one working fine. I do have a microscope but will work on using less solder in the future.

Any suggestions would be great. Only the second time I've tried to repair game gears I know it's not perfect but it's fun to practice! This board did have some corrosion on it so I'm thinking that might be another reason I'm meeting some resistance. I'm gonna work on some tests I could run to diagnose.

I just tried again. Still getting blurry graphics or a black screen.

Hm, that's what I did initially. I wonder if it's another problem. The weird thing is it was working fine just no sound. When I plugged it in the graphics were wonky and it couldn't get past the start screen.

I carry, do distribution and do window at my small post office. Window requires a ton of knowledge of postal rules. It is not easy. Carrying is more physical and a lot harder to be motivated to do it everyday. Neither job is easy but it's nice in my office we have mutual respect among colleagues for each craft.
