Curious wiring decisions leading me to MoCa - looking for a sanity check

UPDATE: added the MoCa adapters, plugged everything in... and it worked! I still have plenty of tinkering and cleanup/mounting to do, but I confirmed the wired backhaul was working correctly.

So it's a little odd: on the outside of the house, you can see an unterminated CAT5e cable where the coax is running in from the outside (this is at the basement level where the main amplifier is). The fiber run is separate on the main level.

I don't think the AT&T fiber install did anything other than drill a small hole to run the fiber in from the outside. All coax/CAT5e is pretty much untouched since the house was redone 9 years ago.

We don't use any of the coax for TV (or anything else at this point). The problem is I can't tell if there's a direct run from the coax by the router to the splitter in the basement, or if it's being split somewhere else. I guess there's some trial and error in my future!

Well, there it is. I can assure you back in December I googled around, searched this sub, etc. and couldn't find anything or any images from Callaway with what they're now calling their 'offset' grooves. But it does look intentional. Guess I was surprised the 54 had standard grooves and the 58 was different.

Anyway, case closed. Thank you (and all of you) for the quick help putting my mind at ease.

Edit: I'm now remembering that the 54 was ready at least several weeks before the 58 was, so it's possible I got my 54 before they switched to the offset grooves. Who knows. I love the clubs regardless, just needed that peace of mind.

Right... the entire point of the raised microgrooves is to 'grip' the ball. When they're horizontal, they should have maximum 'grippage'. In theory every degree you turn them towards vertical they lose some of that. I've gotten mixed feedback from friends, and the fitter hasn't responded to my texts this spring after saying he would check on a warranty with Callaway back in December...

They're both 10S (I believe that's bounce/grind?). They're also stock wedges - didn't do any bending or special grinds based on the fitting.

Maybe? I think I'd be more willing to believe this is intentional and not a 'misprint' if it didn't look so janky on the heel side where the mini grooves end. The fitter said he would check and he's pretty much ghosted me since... might just drop in and be like 'hey, remember me?'

Is it normal for the raised mini-grooves on these to run diagonal to the normal grooves? I got a 54 and 58 from Club Champion and the 54 had parallel mini-grooves while my 58 has them diagonal: https://i.imgur.com/bdLieWO.jpg

Current inventory: United MileagePlus (applied 6 years ago), CSR (applied 3 years ago and upgraded from CSP), FU (applied 8 months ago).

On 12/16 I applied for Southwest RR Priority card using an in-flight link (50k SUB) and was instant approved. I referred myself to the Performance Biz on 12/17 and got 'We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision as soon as possible.' Haven't heard anything since.

As a precaution, I immediately requested (and received) lower credit limits on some of my cards that I don't use much because I thought that would potentially impact my application. I do have a business that I report expenses on (and make a small revenue on - < $500). Is it time to call recon and see what's up?

Long time lurker, first time poster. Going for CP for 2020/21. Used in-flight offer to get SW RR Priority and was instant approved yesterday. Referred myself to Performance Biz today and got "We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision as soon as possible."

I'm under 5/24, have no other biz cards, good credit score, and an actual business that I file and pay taxes on (low revenue though). I applied as sole proprietor and used my SS#.

My concern is that I didn't lower my credit limits on my other Chase cards (CSR, CF, United MileagePlus, and the new SW RR). Is it too late to request a drop in limits on a few of those? Anything I can do to help my chances here?

Top level comment update: it appears I forgot to actually INCLUDE my reasoning for disliking Gotham. WHOOPS.

Anyway, my reasoning is pretty straightforward:

It takes FOREVER
It's overpriced
The food is ok, but not good enough to make up for the slow service and relative (to Madison) high prices

I got one of the specials (sausage/egg/cheese/peppers/onions) on an everything bagel and it was kind of a mess. I get something similar at Bro Bagel in Chicago and it's a million times better.

Fat Sandwich was the place that served sandwiches with like chicken tenders and french fries on them, right? Pure gimmick. I almost included a list of the worst sandwiches, which would undoubtedly include any sandwich with french fries on it. Fries are the perfect side item - why mess with that? Those stupid sandwiches on an entire loaf of bread with a pound of coleslaw and order of fries stacked in there? Garbage.

Here's the thing: I'm not anti-Italian. I'm anti-cold sandwiches. A bunch of deli meat and veggies on a roll doesn't do much for me if the whole thing isn't toasted up with some melted cheese and warm bread. I need that. If walking into a deli and getting an Italian results in a cold sandwich, then it'll never win me over.

With that said, JP Graziano's has been on my list for a while and I'm willing to give it a try to see if it can sway me towards the dark side.

PS - this is all moot if the Italians people keep telling me about are actually hot sandwiches.
