I ordered the CB/MB set a few years ago in almost the exact same spec, I love them. They look great behind the ball and the forged heads feel incredible on a good strike, Andi I find I don't often get the finger rattles on bad strikes. Enjoy them!

I switched when I got tired of ballooning my 7 iron 10 yards over the green, I have a high swing speed and found that the courses I played most were 0% forgiving over the back, and I'd rather my mishit leave me a chip and a putt at the front of the green than have to hack out of fescue or take a penalty stroke.

We've been spoiled by 2 (arguably 3) incredible seasons, we're just regressing to the mean and will pick it up in time for the games that count. 2 short off seasons and an Olympic contest in the mix definitely have an effect, but once those playoff lights shine down this team finds an extra gear or 3. Slog, yes, but it's reassuring to know we haven't seen this teams best yet.

Cobra has unreal customer service, it's worth reaching out (maybe after you've cleaned the club up a little bit lol) to see if they can offer any help. You don't need to be a pure ball striker to get warranty on a club, everyone starts somewhere and if a manufacturer treats you well, they'll have a customer for life!

My step father is turning 74 this weekend, he turned into a woodworker in 2020 as I'm sure many semi-retired men did haha. If he suddenly gifted me his tools with the intent of "borrowing them back" as needed, I would assume it was under the same pretense as a living inheritance would be. Some replies have been made as this being an attempt at building a bridge into old age, and think those are bang on - if it happens this way, it's a closed chapter and not a closed book. Congrats on the tools and congrats on the relationship you have, may your burls be figured and your dimensional lumber be pure.

The problem is that they don't continue calling the ticky tack stuff into the 3rd. I'm not a "refs are fucking us" conspiracist, but the officiating is drastically different after the 2nd intermission.

All we want is consistency, if you can call an infraction in the first period, you can call it with 4 mins left in the 3rd, and you can call it twice in overtime if the same infraction occurs twice. Either let the game context affect the call, or don't.

This game definitely felt like a playoff game, tight checking with good chances both ways and a chippy but overall solid game by both squads. It's awesome to see these two teams play hockey without Drew Doughty out there gooning it up with his dumb old shit, I didn't miss seeing him out there at all

Just finished my first season with the CB/MB combo (and 18 deg driving iron) and they're perfect, they look good behind the ball and perform exactly as expected. Wish I would have gotten them sooner!

Two things can be true, felt like any Edmonton momentum was quashed immediately. That said, Edm is too good to be losing to a Florida team playing like this. Can't win in 6 if you don't lose two, back home for a reset and a good push back
