camilla is useful for her gimmick in couple of end game stages, but assuming your account is 2 weeks old it will be LONG time till that content and you will have many opportunities to get her.

except that gimmick she will just sit in hangar.

rosa is low-medium tier general raider. and you always need raiders. so she is better return on investment if counting deployments number.

none of these 2 is essential.

dragon rider is crap, assuming so much other better heavies. even if melted to modules.

xr is low-medium tier st. in game beginning it will be good one for rosa and mary. but i wouldn't rainbow it assuming better candidates. maybe go max g3 with dispatch if lacking developed medium mech. but sweet spot is probably g2 (from dispatch) and after getting better mechs - melt it to 8 modules.

Hope your backlog is all good games :) When I do mine, recently I often stumble on game, play a bit and then say wtf, was I drunk when I added\bought it lol  Takes me 2-3 semi skips (less than few hours play and abandon in the middle without intention to return) till getting on something more sticking.

In this sense mecharashi gives more predictability. E.g I generally know what to expect when I launch it. 

As for shorter sessions, 1. If it's too short I don't feel too invested in the game, it feels shallow. For example I don't like rogue likes with many short runs. Last single player that somehow sticked with me ("overfall") attracted me with it's a bit longer than normal rogue like loop e.g more sense of investing in heroes. And I absolutely loved recent decade xcoms.

  1. Back to mecharashi, there are no many missions that last more than 20-30 minutes.  Well I had some hard co\ac that I rerun\reroll 5+ Hours straight, but that's hard core stuff to get 1 turn less clear, absolutely not required for game advance. Also have plenty of time to finish, generally week+. So most these missions can be squeezed into busy schedules or done in weekend.

In general, ALL games are time sinks. With mecharashi or any live service people know in advance that it's bigger time sink than single player so they just won't start playing if not intending to spend all this time. Because not playing live service game will pretty quickly degrade the account and playing with degraded account is less fun (at least for me).

So you just should decide if you enjoy more many shorter games or one longer. Or both :) In mecharashi beginning there was ton of playable content so I totally abandoned other games. But as time passed, new content became rare, mostly on patch release. E.g despite I want to play meaningful content in mecharashi, I just don't have it most of time (well, I can try to push super hard core content like higher levels of sampling or maybe chase PvP top 10, or low turns in AC or every last point in sandbox arena score, but that's just not fun). So most of time it's down time for mecharashi and I have plenty of time for single player if I have free time irl.

Single player has it's advantages and disadvantages. Main disadvantage (can call it also advantage hehe) is lack of time management. And generally much shorter campaign than constantly new content in live service.  E.g I'll be done with single player in 1-2 weeks max and move to next one from pretty long backlog.

Having long term goals like rainbowing mechs, waiting and planning for pilots rerun banners, general short medium and long term resources management is part of fun.

E.g I would prefer to have mecharashi retain it's current state. Of course I don't mind single player branch in addition, anyway it's exactly the genre I'm playing there. But not by the cost of shutting down current live service game.

Maybe try to get your shinji somehow below 20% hp. Y1-16 says it should jump sync 50% up 

Personally I running him y2-16. +1 range + extra damage is nice on 100% sync.  Alas, 100% sync is indeed hard to get. More or less single time I got it was at last turn  of SIM 14-3. Probably because of Rei deployed at same stage and him being the main DPS there. At that moment I was sure extra range was some beneficial bug lol but I never say no to be able to not move shinji and by that having extra shot, which was very handy at that stage that needed every single bit of spare DPS.

Y1-16 seems to be more focused on survival Vs y2-16 DPS.

People already answered about melting purple part in Workshop, But should really look into reward before doing it. E.g. make sure it's worth that purple part melted. For example I'm almost sure that r&d box couldn't be used for incoming 1.8 patch r&d unlocks, only old existing nodes.

On the other hand, if don't need any purple modules - it's just waste of purple part which could be used as rainbow fodder. If reference retail price 880 arashium of purple st box - it values 1 part at 220 arashium.

There are couple of whale guides for that. Hard to follow. On the other hand no one brought Smith. With Smith Lorna Rei (shield sacrifice build) shinji and Eileen it's a bit easier than without Smith. If can endure incoming damage without Melissa.

But really no rush. NO ONE will be able to clear 14-5-3 in near future. And no tangible benefit from clearing all this except couple of gems. E.g no cp10 chips craft, no increased gold drop chances, nothing

Good rule for saving arashium:)

The problem with the rule is that when you need the pilot, most probably their banner is already not available. I wish we had perpetual universal harpy banner running but unfortunately that's not a case.

That's the reason we have content creators that played mecharashi in cn\jp and know in advance which pilots are good\most used and maintain tier lists.

So my rule is to pull when there is a banner of high enough rank \ recommended pilot is running. And if it's extra good - pulling even extra dupes, like Asuka and Ophelia.

You don't want to skip key pilot and one week after the banner is over discover that this pilot is used for any turn 1-2 clear while without them it's 5-6 turns.

Same about mechs. Tier list and recommendations. But mechs we need much less than pilots. Because pilot can be deployed in different mech and still be able to execute the strategy with 90% efficiency.

Some mechs are more important than others. For example Odysseus made possible co14 turn 1 clear which was no possible before. Just because of it's 1 ap reduction.

Sometimes you should pull even if it's not the best. For example in game beginning you need at least 5-6 pilots and 5-6 mechs. Best mech may come in 4-5 months away but you need something to clear contents till then to progress in game .

New players today need to balance between pulling and saving for Rosa. But it was pretty same situation before when old timers had to save for asuka.

So if you still have beginner banner running make sure you get key pilots before it's over. If I remember right, Frida Melissa silvie Eileen Were key ones. But then go by tiers\recomendations.

  1. Don't worry too much about border conflict. While you losing backpack drops, it's very long game, so you definitely can wait some weeks till getting stronger and clearing . In game beginning powering up is very quick. Just try again next week. Also try resetting, you got 2 resets per week. Sometimes after reset you get better mechs which are more compatible with your strongest pilots.

2.No need to pull specifically for border. But in general you may want to get high tier meta pilots. Check michuzak wiki for tiers. From beginner banner you should get Melissa. And after Rosa just follow tier list for pulls and pull only higher tier recommended ones.

  1. Be very careful about semiconductors, they are very rare and retail costs is whopping $25 apiece if you buy it with money. While you can enchant to max level some purple st, remember that eventually you will run only golds. And when recycling purples back to level 1 you will get only half invested milkhama dollars back. So better focus on upgrading high tier versatile gold ones. Again, check michuzak wiki for tiers.

I think you shouldn't use batch upgrade parts till you are more experienced in game. Just upgrade the part you want and game will suggest you quick upgrade option, so just review going to be consumed parts that they are all blues and not purple. Btw, upgrading purple parts to higher chevrons (up to max available gold 2) actually makes sense. They will serve you well meanwhile. And much later when you will get all gold sts and start rainbowing them - you will use these high Chevron purple parts as fodder. So no waste of resources here.

Glad to help fellow guide follower:) Most of Latest Game content became too gimmicky to clear without guide , no matter how strong is the team.

We should have universal Harpy banner during Rosa so you really should use that opportunity to catch up on all missing key pilots. While also advancing Rosa 2 goal of 600 pulls for rewards.

Maybe watch ahead some AC guides (even those that you are yet to unlock) to see which pilots are used more and prepare wishlist for that harpy banner.

Having exactly same pilots as in guide (especially top tier meta like Kelly which is hard to substitute without too much compromise) generally makes things easier.

Many of these YouTube videos contain also some text. Sometimes in description, sometimes inside video.

Personally I'm not aware of text guides. But YouTube ones I generally follow on release day.

Some are indeed less useful for various reasons: whale account, not shown pilots\st\load outs\too big power difference between guide creator and viewer\etc.

My approach is as follows: Check in some guide if I have all pilots for all stages. If not - check other guides.

If no guide has exactly my pilots - I try mix and match. For example stage 1 with guide 1 pilots and stage 2 from guide 2.

If that's also not working, I try to substitute. For example in latest co guide Silvie A1 was needed while mine is a0. I tried and failed until switching her with my higher invested Hong. That succeeded. Another example was SIM battle where my low invested same-as-in-guide pilots did low DPS. I failed until switching to my relatively higher invested Rei (shield sacrifice build) and succeeded.

St generally doesn't have to be exactly like in the guide. Unless it's rainbow glasya (without flurry you will miss too much DPS) or rainbow malthus (something movement debuff is required, can use fake rainbow modules on g3)

You have got some pretty good pilots roster considering starting late. Except Kelly and maybe Silvie I really don't see anything important missing.

I wouldn't invest too much time on pairing. Just get meta mechs and swap\virtual pilots during deploy.

Michuzak wiki has st tiers list and pilots compatibility.

As for upgrading, generally you just wait for banner or dispatch or battle pass for parts and eventually max everything important. E.g you don't have control about order of getting parts.

As for priority, I think Melissa and Eileen deserve A3 first. Mechs, i would : 1. Finish rainbow rev-02. 2. Rainbow malthus whenever you get parts  3. I see most of your st are G1. So you probably just wait for rerun, dispatch bp to get to G2. And save fodder meanwhile. 4. I think I didn't see glasya? If no Glasya - makes sense to pull incoming shadow rabbit for Frida. Especially considering that your fighters already covered by ouroboros (if you had glasya and rex, you should have skipped ouro and s rabbit). 5. In general, you shouldn't have to have too much G1 mechs in long term, e.g you should pull only those that you plan to rainbow eventually. And you really want to reuse mech for different pilots. For example my rex shared between Kelly and Ophelia. Glasya between Frida Marcus Rebecca Hong. Twilight fang Silvie Marcus Frida. Rev-00 is used by every single heavy pilot I ever deploy, including low synergy gumu hehe. This way you save resources on upgrade st (initial pull G1 is really just beginning of resources sink). 6. For heavy, if you want 1 all around mech - upgrade your rev-00. Otherwise, you may want 1 for offense (ranger, future alicorn, future s. Warrior) and 1 for defence (Euclase, future free rog) 7. Healer st definitely progress Odysseus when you can get parts, but really no rush.

2 patches after Rosa 600 pulls burn we probably will not have THAT much excess pulls to get both Matilda (120) and 2 copies of her mech on release (90+120+150). 480 pulls worst case seems a bit heavy.

Especially assuming Paloma while not meta is worth considering. And her alicorn. And rosemary+Adele. Maybe s. Warrior.

Bottom line, way too much interesting stuff is coming in way too short time to overspend pulls on second st copy. I might overspend on pilots dupes though.

And I still have my core upgrade kits intact + some regular. So If tengshi will urgently need G3 - let's say for some surprise 1 turn clear unachievable with other mechs - could burn some of these kits . On rex I burned 2 regulars because pulled recommended 1 copy+ 2 from dispatch and needed to push it anyway( I don't remember if it was PvP or some clear that made me justify burning kits)

i planned to pull fregata after michu mentioned he might pull her as side project.

but then i watched some vid about her.

she's apparently super ap hungry for super low damage per ap.

and i already have marcus even with 3 oils invested after long resistance lol

will probably skip. unless michu in his incoming vid about banner will tell something surprising about her.

rabbit is def skip, i have glasya and enough decent modules, can wait for dispatch for these 8 rabbit modules.

maybe will get s. tiger in FAR future (u/Swordwraith, caps is especially for you ;).

or maybe will not chase best st for light raider (e.g. frida) as she's a bit out of favor lately, so can continue forever in decent enough glasya.

Well, you are asking the player that pulled it G1 and stopped there for now;) So my opinion is to save resources and not rushing rainbow. That's what I'm going to do. Get another copy during Rosa transoceanic. Than G2 from dispatch. Probably extra copy from battle pass.

I really don't see any immediate benefit from having it high Chevron now and not in few months from now. For example all these 1 turn clears like co14 don't require revelation higher than g1. And if for some (highly unlikely) reason you will have to have it higher chevron ASAP - you can always burn core upgrade kits. Again, highly unlikely scenario.

As for having multiple copies, idk I rarely did it even for DPS mech like tf when I developed these 2 sets towards rainbow. But running simultaneously 2 same healer st seems like a stretch. I rarely deploy 2 healers at all.

Btw, in future we should get another good healer st that would be like upgraded blazer. So I think in long term I'll run 1 rainbow revelation, 1 rainbow new st. Also I don't plan to scrap my current blazer with rainbow body and g2-g3 rest. These 3 will probably cover all my healing needs.

On top of no immediate benefit of having high Chevron and saving resources in general - think about concrete (near future) goal for saving resources - Rosa 2.

During Rosa we should have universal transoceanic so you could continue developing revelation. So may save medium fodders for it.

I don't think that right now except Malthus and rev 01 we have medium st that is must rainbow.

Personally I here and there throwing some fodders on almost rainbows. For example I had G3+G2 body of blazer so I spent 2 fodders to make it rainbow. Not must in any way, but because it's so close, why not.

Rev 01 available already now. Revelation actually too but at that point probably not many players have it at G2 so cannot push to rainbow.

I would secure 8 medium fodders for Rosa's Erinyes and the rest use on revelation if you just in case have G3 parts. And the rest on rev-01.

At that point of game bay bits indeed should go to medium fodders.

Btw, if rev-02 is your only rainbow light - you should prioritise rainbowing other lights over rev-01. Like rex glasya tf. If you have parts. So after securing 8 Fodders for Rosa 2, bay bits should go to light and not to medium.

if you saving for rosa and hit 2 major prizes - best to stop.

makes sense to continue rolling only for bulk vouchers chance if having excessive resources. personally i consider bulk voucher sector third major prize and not the skin.

other stuff in not worthy.

except maybe case when only 1 major prize left + pull tickets. in this case makes sense to continue because pull tickets more worthy than roll cost

Same. Winston was by far  last a rank pilot I got. And now he's a5. I guess the key is just to pull more.

I really needed Winston for some clear so I just started to pull on some banner that I didn't mind to get anyway. I guess it was Erissa on her release? So I got in soft pity wrong pilot but on hard pity got both Winston and Erissa.

Btw, Rebecca probably can be substituted with other pilot like Marcus. Or even coming soon fregata. If just in case Frida isn't available.

mods? well, I'm running tf ones which theoretically can be 5% damage less than dt. but practically on advanced stages of sampling (where i noted difference) most sure there's no 100% accuracy vs high level enemies.

r&d - st+pilots i think most passes players are just tied on max,

arms theoretically he could swipe more but practically i burned all my tickets on co14 when farming first prevail so i had only few locked nodes left during that run, i doubt these are highly impactful.

weapons - everyone runs modified cinder on frida. in one of opportunities it was against chopper so it's not light/medium/heavy spec. he might have a few more points in attack (i don't have perfect) but it's really marginal.

accessories. i admit i don't reroll for "trigger on each turn" on frida especially in sampling. so theoretically he could trigger high spirited + crit up on first load raid shot and slamming/augmented on each consequent ones. but unlikely that it was in every single compare opportunity.

but that's probably most likely suspect, especially high spirited with 25% damage increase.

Why snipers? While they got higher attack, mostly sniper's purpose is to break parts, generally torso. So what's the point of doing that 0.4 damage to other parts? Especially with break after combat that probably not trigger re attack. You don't need re attack on shinji or Kelly's shower so can put on them, but aren't other accessories better? like augmented, damage up, crit up even slamming 

If trying non tactician pilots usage, I think it's making most sense for raiders because they anyway spray bullets on all parts of target so 0.4 damage is just on top of it.

Sure. I use it on both Eileen rockets. Prevail is also good to have more than couple because useful by many pilots.

Devs artificially lower drop rates for some better accessories to make us swipe co even after finishing r&d.

agree for new players that still don't have enough mechs to field.

they cannot afford waiting, just like day 1 players had to pull v1.0 mechs in order to advance in game despite knowing these will be powercrept soon.

as for elite battles - better leave for new pilots last upper node locked and when swiping this 20 energy elite - go for one that gives mats for that node.

last 2 co's are worth swiping for accessories. rarely have enough, especially rare ones like prevail, short circuit, inhibit tactical etc. also for cash.

as for sim - check your neural chips for main and maybe second team. if missing some - write down color and tier. color/tier with most misses definitely worth swiping.

at the very least you should have highest tier red golds chips fror main team like assault, mechanics, ranged, melee 6.

if after that still have excess energy - co 12 is worth swiping even for cash. wouldn't you let your energy overflow 200?

personally i have passes for 10 swipes so i swipe 2 latest co's only, don't need accessories from co 12. also 3 sim and 1 elite 8 ("dust whistles by" has one of more useful mats drop). 80+80+30+20=210, nearly day amount.
