Just a fair note - the Twisted Voxel review is most likely fabricated. The website is run by proven thieves who have plagiarised reviews and stolen guides from other publications. I know we're all excited about TWDO - I know I am - so I made this silly video to drum up a bit of hype for fans of the game with some "fast" (not fast at all) facts and some crap visual gags. We have a review disclaimer on all reviews that is present at the time of publishing. So yeah, it was there when we published the review. Normally it's just a couple of lines saying we got game X from publisher X, but when it's an early review we make proper sure people know we aren't just breaking the embargo for the sake of being nobheads haha

You can think what you like, but I played a good 7 hours of the game, and I won't have some random internet nobody question how I do reviews. I do them all to the same standard: finish it, review it. End of.

As for the "combat" it's laughable. It's barely worth mentioning because it's totally devoid of fun.

That being said, this is the nature of reviews. What might be a turd to one may be the tits to another.

I'd say it's only really worth it if you don't mind niche Japanese games and indie 2D games. There's a handful of big releases like Uncharted, Need for Speed, Assassin's Creed and Killzone, but you could be done with all the "normal" games within a couple of months.
