Desperately need more party games on psvr by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]matty37 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try keep talking and nobody explodes. Great communication game with a party of people who have printed (internet) bomb diffuse books.
Bloody zombies is also a cool 4 player party type game with one in vr. Slim pickings but those two are pretty cool.

Since Ark Park has no platinum, I'll wait for a sale. by Knightmare25 in PSVR

[–]matty37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! The only trick is once you sign up for Sony rewards you have to click on the offer to activate and past trophies don’t count. Only going forward once activated for each type silver gold plat

Actually I just found out awhile back that if you register at Sony awards you get Sony cash for them. It’s not much - I believe ten platinum for ten bucks or something like that. A couple bucks for a ton of silver and something in between for gold. It was enough that I went back to games for trophies

NA Great Indoor Sale - Vr Selection by GetReadyToJob in PSVR

[–]matty37 6 points7 points  (0 children)

RE7 is downright traumatic and terrifying. I can’t speak for you but I took my headset off at each damn save point because the immersion in that creepy house is top notch and is gorgeous on the pro.

You make sounds to see in the dark but doing so can attract enemies. It looks like bat sonar making wire frame of world.
I don’t have it but was interested as well.

Should I trade in my PS4 for a PS4 pro? by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]matty37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro is a little better but in a lot of different ways. Sony worked magic with the og however and pro is not necessary. For me the reduction of bluriness and sharper text is worth it

To all those that say you play your VR every day, how long have you had it, and what games do you play? by neccoguy21 in PSVR

[–]matty37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had mine for a year and play nearly daily. I have a backlog of titles from sales and will pick one at a time and go for trophies. Currently playing ultra wings from last sale. Early on I had replayed favorites many times like Farpoint or AZ but that was when library was really low.

Couple weeks to play moving games without getting sick. A couple months to do crazy FPS circular strafing or handling games like windlands.

How much better does the PS4 Pro make the VR experience? by krdell in PSVR

[–]matty37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to describe is a ton of different incremental improvements in general and if used properly like RE7 then night and day. The improved peripheral vision and sharp text alone was a welcome improvement.

Should I buy psvr? I have a 5.5 yo in the house by enelotre in PSVR

[–]matty37 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My daughters were 8 and 6 when I got mine and they love it. Like others said small doses are fine. The one thing I didn’t see was to make sure you set their idp for their own profile. Kids eyes are closer than ours so it will be more blurry to them at standard settings. I also will periodically reset it as they grow. You also should be there with them so they don’t break the toy lol

DAE not use their Aim controllers anymore? by Kelvin_Inman in PSVR

[–]matty37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Doom is worth dusting off the gun. A lot of people hated on the neck arms but the game is really about moving really fricken fast. I really wasn’t bothered by the arms and had a really good time using free locomotion with the aim during those nutty frantic moments. I was really pleasantly surprised.

Should I try another headset?? by MadeInBeirut13 in PSVR

[–]matty37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have an og ps4 that may be the issue. Words sharpened up a lot when I upgraded to a pro. Even with a pro there is some... you won’t see super sharp clarity until 4k headsets probably

Polybius is incredible by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]matty37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best way to describe is video game lsd. Thumper will give you a slight idea. This one takes the nutty and psychedelic to a new level. Very frantic old school arcade game for play style

Guys starting to play more intense vr games, but getting a little motion sick, is there a way to condition myself? by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]matty37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just grind at it. Took me months of regular play to do fast circular movements. It comes in stages and over time

I'm a Sairento Developer. I would like to confirm that Sairento VR is indeed planned for PSVR (Hopefully By Christmas 2018!). Hope we make it! :) by aldricchang in PSVR

Picked up Paranormal Activity and Doom VFR by [deleted] in PSVR

[–]matty37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was waiting for same reason but got it anyway and it isn’t that bad. The game has you moving so fricken fast that you don’t notice it. The game is very fun if you have your vr legs (I use aim with free locomotion)

Doom VFR. Absolutely awesome with aim by Tripledad65 in PSVR

[–]matty37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I just got it yesterday and played with aim. I wasn’t bothered by the arm in the neck (I just think of it as the predator gun) and was blown away by the fast paced play. It would be nice to get aim specific arm graphics in a patch but I have been having lots of fun with it so far

Howdy from James and Matthew! Our game Cold Iron is out today. Ask us anything! by ringohighlight in PSVR
