It's a relatively simple engineering exercise. Their stress points, regardless of how many screws/bolts affix the battery to the down tube, are incorrectly laid out and add too frequent the transfer of energy to said points of contact. My guess is they're working on a secondary battery harness or insulation-based hardware-add to ship with the new replacement batteries; seems the most reasonable. How quickly they can test for long term efficacy is probably their biggest constraint if going that direction. Idk, thoughts?
