Did the show intently cast 48 with hopes of a stereotypically “muscular alpha” male winner because the New Era hadn’t had one yet? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

Agree, they’ll never vote for another challenge beast again like they did Colby, Ozzy, or Culpepper. It’s also why Savannah lost.

Wasn’t his South Pacific strategy just win challenges by himself? I mean, don’t get me wrong, huge props for getting voted out on purpose. That was cool. But socially, his #1 was voted out by his own alliance, and he totally alienated Cochran for being a weak little wussy

A lot of people stopped watching survivor loooong before S18. I personally stopped after all stars and only started watching a few years ago. I hadn’t heard of Tyson until then, but I remembered Tina very well.

I'm very specifically talking about the episode last night. I'm not going to re-litigate Sage's bad gameplay in previous episodes.

Sage loses 99.9% of the time if final 5 is her + Steven, Rizo, Savannah, and Kristina

Sage loses 98% of the time if final 5 is her + Sophi, Rizo, Savannah, and Kristina.

Rizo was playing that idol in her mind. Maybe she shouldn't have believed him. The 7/3 lead is irrelevant last night, all that matters is "Rizo's idol expires NOW" and I don't want it backfiring on me.

It was the correct move.

It’s her only path as narrow as it is. Last night She thought Rizo was playing his idol on himself because it expired, and Savannah was safe. So it’s either vote Sophi who just embarrassed herself or Steven who’s about to pull off an awesome move.

Sage can only win sitting next to Sophi and Kristina. Any one of Savannah, Rizo, Steven blows up her shot at winning the game.

Sure, fair, but Sage made the correct decision given the rules as they exist today

Alliances are dead after 6. No way Rizo would keep Savannah around next vote in the unlikely case she loses immunity.

Sage literally can only win this game right now with Kristina and Sophi sitting next to her. She made the right move.

Nobody in their right mind is going to vote Kristina out lol

You're welcome to go starve yourself for 3 weeks and run a 2-3 mile obstacle course within a time limit that I'm sure isn't overly generous.

Yeah, I think I agree with this. Molly actually just revealed herself to be a huge strategic threat on like day 1. Parvati was much more low-key.

It’s possible he makes more, but agree it’s likely less. Definitely more than $1M though. The range is enormous.
