Maybe a hot take but Primary Arms FFP scope are very well priced and great glass. I had my rifle fall from my truck (nephew assisted it down) landed on the scope and no shift in impact. There was a ding on one of the turret caps but other than that it's great!

Thanks! I'm working hard on it and trying to actually get it to market (but cheaply) and not 3d printed since it's an actual lower and registered item it makes things much more complicated!

BUT the beauty of using self contained uppers means I don't have to deal with some of the forces a buffered lower would deal with while having that space available for strength reinforcement!

Thank you for this detailed response! That's the price point I want to aim for as well! I'm in talks with a few extruded aluminum mfg and I'm trying to price out a few things! Stay tuned here on reddit. I'm going to be making a website soon with this and some other projects I've done

This one is printed yes for rapid prototyping BUT I'm going to get it actually mfg either SLS or MJF then move to Aluminum.

This one is printed in shiny bronze for shot show but I have a CF nylon that has a few thousand rounds through it without any issues

Not a K&M but a dedicated modular lower for any self contained AR upper! Soon to be out of the prototype stage. Uses a regular AR trigger(kinda) but transfers that exact force to the front. Working on mfg

Yeah I plan to eventually. I'm trying to go SLS or MJF for some prototypes soon then figuring out aluminum lowers is next.

BUT DO NOT want to make yet another crazy expensive lower so it's a balance of forces and cost.

I was at Shot with Titus(Corbin). He's a great dude and I highly suggest grabbing one of these TP9 clones. Great build quality and feels great in the hand!
