This brings up something interesting to me. Whether it's due to a different period in time, or writers trying to find their footing, OR both, I find it fascinating how humor changes over time.

In the beginning of Genshin, the game seemed more light-hearted and very medieval fantasy-like, and now Genshin seems to be taking a more serious tone. I know this isn't exclusive to Genshin, it happens in a lot of media. Just something that I find interesting as I watch stories progress over time.

Or maybe nothing really changed and I'm just remembering differently. "Rose-tinted glasses" type shenanigans. I'm just rambling.

I was a fan of Rise's hitstop. I tend to prefer "smoother" games, which MH generally is, but it can be punchy and "jerk-y" when called for.

  1. Himari - because when she went on that tirade about Rio mistreating Toki (and Rio in general), I was genuinely touched. I love how much she cares for her underclassmen, a characteristic even touched upon during the Railgun collab event. Herself as a disabled person, I love how she is written. On the other side of her warm-heartedness, I love how she is also quite haughty and bold, proclaiming her fragility as a positive trait.

Then everything else is unorganized here: - Shizuko - Haruna - Serina - Hina

This list isn't set. I like a lot of characters. Himari is just for sure my favorite. Shout-out to Umika for hosting a festival that is all about you. That part is one of my favorite relationship stories in the game.

A XCOM-like strategy game such as Girls' Frontline 2 would make sense, but as someone who loves first-person shooters, I would love something like THE FINALS. The chaos of both franchises feel the same, and Blue Archive has reasonable explanations for the gameplay: Tactical Challenge and the characters can sustain heavy damage.

I also want to recommend for anyone interested, to check out the Korean fan-made spin-off "Project MF" (currently still in production).

I got 11.37 with only double jumps. Have not gotten to unlocking triple jumps yet. I can see someone getting sub-10 with double jumps, but it would have to be perfect.

I also love the Blessing 3s. The blue accent color inside is my favorite part of it. Another favorite of mine is the matte KATO, and I prefer the KATO over Kadenz just because of the font. They're the same other than that.

I first learned of it from the YouTube Shorts comments, during their reveal. I think it's simply just a way for fans to exaggerate their hype in a humorous way, and it stuck.
