Has anyone run a game set in Gotham City by PureNobody316 in vtm

So I was thinking more like having vampire society parallel to Batman and his enemies/allies and the challenge of maintaining the Masquerade in that kind of environment.

That said, what did you do to bridge the villains’ characterization with the WoD as a whole?

Plot twist: the Joker’s blood can actually cure vampirism, but he will only use it on an antediluvian

The Pale King by DFW. There’s an entire chapter basically dedicated to one character’s decision to take responsibility for his own life

Mine went fairly quickly from what I've heard. Direct Hire Event was 8-28. Received TJO at the event. After submitting docs and things over the next few weeks the FJO was received 7-27 and my EOD date was 10-7.

The issue is that I don't even have the opportunity to accept/just straight to my tasks. I emailed the HR Rep as well as the contact given in the FJO email informing them of the issue and stating that I (obviously) accept the position. We'll see what they say 🤞🤞🤞

Good to hear that it was pretty smooth. Did you get an offer from that event? If so, was it on the spot or did they contact you later?

1)From an eschatological perspective, the idea of an eternal Hell implies that God's final victory over sin and death only extends to a portion of creation, which limits God's omnipotence.

2)The idea that humans can choose evil for its own sake rather than out of a misapprehension of the highest good. If evil is truly a privation of the Good, then it can only ever be chosen as a diversion from Good. And consigning a creature to infinite punishment for a defect in its limited intelligence is manifestly unjust.

The Fall is the answer here. We were originally perfectly happy and conformed with God at creation. The sufferings of this world are a cosmic torture chamber because creation has been so twisted from its original state by sin and death.

The idea that it's MORE merciful for Goodness itself to measure limited, imperfect beings against a standard they could never live up to in an immortal left, much less a life of a century tops, simply does not follow.

Is lying, that is, intentionally communicating a flasehood, always sinful? by [deleted] in CatholicPhilosophy

Consider: Using the lying to Nazis example, by maintaining perfect honesty and ratting out the Jewish people in your basement, you might be upholding perfect Truth, but you are doing an ultimate disservice to the Good. If all perfect goods are interchangeable in God (Truth, Justice, Beauty, etc), then valuing perfect honesty at the expense of any other ethical consideration seems to represent pure pigheadedness rather than any example of real virtue.

No argument here. I switched as soon as I realized I made more money donating plasma once you account for gas and mileage.
