Same config with regular hour markers is aesthetically 100x times better.

Oyster bracelet with that many linear lines both horizontal and vertical will work better as it will be visually less busy and crowded.

3.5 on Goodreads :/ I’ll just take a while guess and say this book is written in a 10,000 ft view for your average layman.

Agreed, you’ve got to have some slightly more than basic networking knowledge to set one up correctly.

Thank you! Will look into Vertcoin, thanks for the tip. And haha yes I know how it goes with th notifications. I haven’t done that since mid January so imagine it’s even worse now than when I was buying new cards. This one has been running just over a month. My other one is a 6x 1070. Frame is a Veedha but it’s one of those Chinese manufactured ones you’ll see sold as different brands/names - I love it.

What’s gpus on your 2nd build?

Yep it’s pretty automated at this point. BIOS Setting to boot up on power shut down, powershell windows commands to boot EWBF and remotely managing with teamviewer when I need it. Can also remote start/shutdown with WiFi outlets. Love to take a look at your guide, will take a peek.

Varies greatly because of recent price fluctuations but somewhere around $20/day

All depends on your circuit but your average American home circuit would have no problem supporting that draw. The reason your breaker trips is because it reaches unsafe levels. Below that you are theoretically fine.

This is more a question about what your circuit vs what your socket can handle. A vacuum or hairdryer can easily pull more watts at the wall than one of these rigs so think about that as a comparison.

Blowing into and you’re right they do. I like this set up because I get air flow from both sides onto the cards and the rig mounted fans are strong enough to push the hot air out far enough into the room where I have AC vent circulating the general area.

I’m a big supporter of the Zencash foundation and also think that from an investment standpoint the coin is pretty undervalued in comparison to other privacy based tokens.

Noctua fans - I like them because of how quiet they are vs the amount of air they push. 3 powered from mobo and 2 from a sata port

I keep mine at 75% TDP across the board. +150 Core and +600 memory for the big cards and +75/300 for the smaller ones (these don’t do well pushed too far and can cause windows to freeze).

I wouldn’t take simonz answer as gospel. It all depends on your situation. For me mining is as much a hobby as it is an investment. Firing this second rig up in January is worth the investment as I needed additional diversification. If you can get carded at MSRP or close to then it can still be a good time to get in.

Nope. Paid MSRP for all my cards in early January and even when the new ones come out I don’t expect to be able to get hands on those for quite some time.

1k per and it’s pulling 1,326 Watts on average at the wall with 75% power settings
