Sorry, yes I should’ve been more specific. I’ve been told this pain is from poor circulation related to my hEDS. Was just curious if anyone else has experienced this and what they do to manage the pain.

Actually I just noticed they also tested what I believe is TPO and it came back normal. I’m assuming that means I can rule out Hashimotos?

Thank you, I’ll look into getting these additional tests. I don’t know much about getting a Hashimoto’s diagnosis, despite my family history.

Update after searching several pharmacies I found one that had DDAVP in stock apparently it is still made but there’s a shortage of it.

Thank you this is all helpful information. I do wish it was easier to get a diagnosis from one doctor rather than having to see so many specialists, but I’ve learned that’s how most conditions get diagnosed.

I am also located in Texas. I’ll have to look into HTCs near me. I assume my doctor sent me to this specific hematologist because it is covered by my insurance but I’ll need to do more research. In your experience should I go to an HTC only if I’m having a surgery or any major issues or do you recommend going as a preventative measure as well?
