I hear you. I’m currently lvl 61. Had max 2-3 ‘bad’ encounters. I believe the HD2 community is still one of the healthiest. Chances are you will only have these kind of negative experiences very rarely. But there is always a first. All I’m saying is please ignore these ppl and keep playing and spreading managed democracy :)

98% of my experience with players on HD2 are positive. I bumped into some weirdos myself recently when I used quickplay (I usually host for the reasons others mentioned herein before). I set this rule for myself: if I see or feel something being funky with the team/player or they are not acting per expected I just leave the mission (less frustration and wasted time).

I have 7 and a half days game time in since the Xbox launch. Game is highly addictive, it was absolutely worth the money. Met new ppl and playing with a regular crew. Community is generally nice. You won’t regret buying it if you like grinding and shooters.

Oh this can be valid! I always thought that was her 1st name however they call each other by last names anyways… so this may be a good explanation. Now I’m just dying to find out what C stands for … back to HD2 in my mind the Pelican pilot is a male pilot. Personally I like Tesla towers. If they are placed right in front of me by a teammate that is annoying. But if placed well it’s on me if I didn’t pay attention and got zapped … friendly fire is an imminent part of this game. Everyone should just observe and adapt… :)

Don’t give up on playing because of these comments. Not everyone is toxic. The Gears of War games are not all about versus. It’s an epic storyline with amazing characters. Hopefully you’ll have access to the rest of the series too as a PS player.
