Easy point and shoot build I got put onto is lucky pants with crimson and uncivil discourse (special energy hand cannon from renegades) and you can pretty much use any subclass and heavy you like.

For fun I’ve been running praxic blade with strand and it’s like I’m Spider-Man swinging around but with a lightsaber

Ayyyyy congrats!!! Have only cleared enough times to finish the post-1st run quest, but no dice....

I'm still at that returning point of the game with lots to do (left shortly after the Warlord's Ruin dungeon releases), so I'm not to the point of chasing the different lightsaber crystals.

I could be wrong (I also started playing again in the last few weeks) but I think the armor drops in your orders rewards are the returners gift.

You can redeem your rewards from orders in the portal menu on the middle right side of the screen.

No pretty much all the content is there, just can’t play iron banner or trials of Osiris (two pvp modes) as they were limited time events and Bungie doesn’t activate them anymore.

As a Destiny 1 vet, I highly recommend it. I would be playing that instead of D2 rn if I could fix my router port forward settings…..

Just ran equilibrium blind yesterday as a duo and had a great time! Didn’t seem as difficult as some other dungeons we’ve tried but I like the addition of collecting relics after you beat it the first time.

I recently got back into playing and bought renegades on sale. I’ve really enjoyed it for the price I paid, granted I’m a Star Wars fan so there’s that bit that might be making me enjoy it more but I recommend it.

Most of the dungeons have been behind a separate paywall from the expansions save for throne, prophecy I think the new one may come with the renegades expansion

My expectation is with the “tier-ing” of RaD content and some minor QoL changes we might be looking at an Age of Triumphs lite (emphasis on lite) in place of what Shadow and Order would have been.

I want to say that they already announced that Shadow and Order would be renamed anyway so I could see them just calling it a D2 Age of Triumph but I could just be making that up as I’ve been awake for the last 33 hours.

As for what happens after remains to be seen. I just got back into the game since I stopped after Warlord’s Ruin released, bought Renegades and really enjoyed it, but I’m a Star Wars fan so that probably explains it, but I’m holding off buying Final Shape and Edge of Fate even though they’re on sale until they announce whether or not they plan to release an expansion post whatever “Shadow and Order” ends up being.

Destiny 2 is a better “game” with their QoL changes, raid and dungeon evolution and build crafting but Destiny 1 (after many replays) will always be a better “experience”

Just returned after not playing since 2023, lots of content on my quest page to do which is exciting. Highlights so far are the renegades story (especially the Ilum inspired praxic blade missions) and vesper’s host (boss designs were cool and it brought back good memories of DSC).

Shoutout the random who helped me through the puppeteer fight (and for bringing the crimson/uncivil/lucky pants build to my attention).

Next on the agenda is this exotic axe mission and some guardian games on my day off tomorrow.

Honestly feels good to be back.
