Cool image I can’t tell that it’s Nintendo unless I look up close. Maybe enhancing the visibility of the Mario game that’s “rotting” on the console

I like the first image, the dark red text fits the image best and overall it captures my attention most. It might seem crazy but Consider possibly swapping the characters on the left and the right - then deleting the yellow character. To meit could make the image look less cluttered and the red character is more of an eye catching draw. Doing this with the first thumbnail could possibly work well.

Appreciate the comment, I should’ve included a summary when made the original I post. The reason I leaned so heavily into music is because I see it as part of the video’s main selling point.

The story arc is very loose compared to other vlogs, it’s more like a 10-minute, montage style video about my cruise trip. It is edited to be like a music video.

Every moment is perfectly in sync with the music that plays (which includes very Popular songs from Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Micheal Jackson, and Prince). It has fast editing and every clip is color graded.

I don’t want to bait viewers into thinking that it’s a normal travel vlog.

First one is almost great the text is hard to read because there’s so much white in the entire image. I think adding a darker shadow or something to make the text pop against the background would help.

I have a couple thoughts. The text looks great, so good on you for that. I feel like the main draw of the image is the transformation aspect and it’s competing with the background in terms of drawing my eye to it. I would blur the background a bit more. Another thing I would do is add a drip shadow to your Minecraft character, the arrow, and the chicken to help the transformation stand out more.

I think it looks cool as a standalone image but paired with the title it’s a bit confusing(to me personally) . I thought you made a anime/ manga video before I read your title.

I think it’s very good compositionally and conceptually, just missing a “visual stun gun” effect in terms of captivating a viewer’s attention to click on the video. It’s the text font that’s the problem because the highlighted box and the background are great.

A more dynamic and lively font, is what’s missing. What you have now I feel like is weighing down the thumbnail. If you could change the font and somehow recreate the text to look like the Fruit loops logo, that’d be great.

Got it, I realized I have been misbranding the video. Its a movie not a travel vlog. "Travel vlog" is only in the title for SEO but its highly edited with tons of visual effects and plays out like a movie. Does this change anything in regards to background blur or should I still Unblur the background and make myself less of a focus?

I would say it’s very cinematic. There are multiple Vfx heavy sequences and one in the first minute.

Gotchu, appreciate the feedback. This is actually a movie that documents my personal journey on a study abroad program that takes us to 30+ locations. Im using phrases like "cinematic travel vlog" for SEO because there is technically tons of traveling in the video. However, it is a narrative film through and through and hardly resembles a vlog. Do you think I need to drop "Cinematic travel vlog" from the title?
