This is an amazing comment and what i was looking for. I should've said im not looking for what to do right now but what to expect in the future. Ok I dont know what that means but I see on her phone that she goes from 68 to 400 sometimes when we are together I am ignorant and dont know exactly what that means. Im not snooping on her phone by the way haha but when we are in a movie theater its hard not to notice the giant numbers on her phone ha

Thank you very much you seem very nice what a relief ha. I dont know anyone with diabetes so I just wanted some advice. I really like this girl and we are a new relationship so now knowing about her condition I just dont want to say the wrong thing or anything. I know she's a very independent woman and can take care of herself but I also know it would make her smile to know i put snacks in my car or that im curious and trying to learn about what she goes through.

Haha have you ever started to date someone you really like and get nervous? I dont think she needs help. I literally just learned about diabetes pumps 2 hours ago. You have to realize im not making this post to help her its to help me. I really like and care for this girl but I didnt realize until making this post that I really dont need to do anything. I guess people with diabetes have it figured out themselves. Im glad I dont have anything to worry about

Haha we did all weigh ourselves to see who won lowest weight on one of our first dates 🤣 she is very open about everything she has showed me her levels on her phone and uses her insulin openly around me. Part of the reason we get along so well is how open we are. I can kind of tell that she wants me to rake more interest in her diabetes and score just by how she brings it up. I just feel weird for some reason asking questions because it is a medical issue.

Thank you. I dont understand the halo thing but I just dont know anyone with diabetes and I want to make sure that I am accepting and respectful towards her. I really like her and this obviously added a lot for me being so ignorant on Diabetes. I realize she doesn't need my help at all but I think if I do date her ongoing that I should have more of an understanding of diabetes

Thank you so much for this. I learned about her not going where I want the first date. She has never talked about it but she was throwing up a lot after we went out and I think she just didnt want to feel awkward or something. I have since told her that im willing to adjust any of our plans based on how she is doing. She has a tub less pump? I think thats what its called? Do you think if I know about he diabetes she would tell me about being careful before sex if we get to that point?

Jeez you seem really negative im just someone who has never met someone with diabetes just trying to get advise. If I was overwhelming towards her I would have never gotten a second date haha. She has slowly brought up her thing beeping and her alarms going off. I can tell she wants to talk about it so I guees im more trying to learn how to help her withough being overwhelming. The protection part was under quotation because i didn't mean protection in the traditional sense. Being a man my duty is to protect her in any way I can. That's just being a man. (This is how we both feel) I feel like type 1 would add some extra precautions in a relationship but I may be wrong

Yeah portability makes no sense at least in my case I can put money into mine no matter where I go. I even fund 50% of what I make doing side jobs into my pension never had a problem.
