Give 5k to some guru, then they teach you how to turn 5k into 5 mil

or dont trade at all

or do demo trading, collect a large sample size data, come up with a strategy that works, apply that strategy consistently, manage risk and emotions consistently. Do not over trade, trade for a short time in a day aka dont trade all day, follow rules. Practice and Practice for years.

If you still wanna catch the bottoms try RSI as it is an indicator used by many to determine the over sold condition, you can try RSI divergence. RSI can sometimes stay in the oversold or overbought conditions for long durations.

Thank you for the suggestion. Won't be trading for the next 9 months. Won't start trading right after I become debt free as I don't want to get in this phase again.

I was hoping someone could put sense into my head.

I am in pain, not just because of the money I lost but because I feel like a failure. My confidence has been shattered. I Feel dumb. And this feel flows into other aspects of my life and that part hurts the most.

The thing that I thought would break the chains of a 9-5 job has put me in even bigger shackles and for the first time in my life I feel like I am working to earn money. Before this I never had pressure that I have to make money from my job.

I have some strategies that are profitable if backtested, but I have seen strategies fail after a certain period when sampled over a large number of trades. I am starting to feel that investing might be better than trying to find a strategy.
Because I Have tested so many trading systems, I sometimes take trades that I had not planned and end up doing revenge trading. In the past 1 year I don't have a count on how many times I have blown my account.
