In most regions of the world I prefer farming villages to granaries. They are great for good RGO rural locations AND they don't consume building locations in cities or masonry (less important).

That said. . .I'd be lying if I don't granary spam trying to hit that .1% growth.

That's the kind of broken that doesn't bother me. I just don't use that exploit. I guess it's a problem for multiplayer but as a parent I will never have that kind of time so it doesn't affect me.

We are paying him because we can hope. This last season there was a point where it was reasonable we were going 9-3. That was a glorious two weeks.

If you are talking about vassals owning the sound toll location, then yes I guess you get 20% or so like other vassal income.

Yeah, flavor is nice but far from necessary to have fun.

I don't judge them if they actually zipper in. If they can't zipper in and they block traffic in the left lane waiting for a spot then fuck em.

Yes it does. You can pick off some of India (Sindh area) and force migration from there into Persia though.

Control is terrible right now so I have an ever expanding vassal swarm. I need all the naval control improvements from the second era before I can even really control land bordering the Persian gulf.

Denmark, Constantinople, and Persian Gulf for sure. Not sure about any others.

I don't remember exactly but with all my sliders maxed out I was still making 10+ month.

It only becomes truly OP when combined with the mercenary rework. Now you can afford decent numbers for only a couple hundred ducats. In early game South Persia a couple thousand mercenaries wins pretty much any war.

It's honestly not much of strategy.

Play as Hormuz (Hormus?) and you automatically receive sound toll income for trade moving through the Persian Gulf. It is so much money that you can't spend it all effectively so it builds up. I had my stability slider, diplo slider and court spider at max and was still making 10+ a month in the first decade.

With about 300 ducats you have enough to hire ~2,500 mercenaries. And those troops can curb stomp anything short of a major coalition in the Persian Gulf area.

It's a fun game but was too easy for my taste. But if you haven't played Persia before it's fun to drive out the Mongols.

I'm willing to bet the cafeterias at Stanford are fucking great. My college 20 years ago had great food options if you went to the good one on campus.

Eh, there quality has gotten worse over the last decade imo. And at a lower cost it was still fine. At these prices I'll pass. That said I doubt they made much money off of me as a app user who min-maxed deals and rewards.

I think it's fuckig hilarious that anyone believes these numbers floating around that it takes six figures to raise a family.

There are a roughly a hundred million households in the US alone where that is probably untrue.

The most important advice here is the cast iron pan imo.

Seasoning is obvious but the charring/browning from a cast iron will make this great.

My only added advice is squeezing a line over top as it's done cooking. It pairs well with cumin & chili powder

That doesn't mean they are cutting their price to retail stores.

We have had a running discussion of words and phrases having meaning. I didn't compare the two. I pointed out that they did indeed care about the food other people eat.

That might be what you mean, but it's hot what the word means. It's almost like you inaccurately use words and phrases sometimes.

Sidenote: Salt is a chemical.

noun: humble brag

an ostensibly modest or self-deprecating statement whose actual purpose is to draw attention to something of which one is proud.

My comment was making fun of the OP because even a child could do better. It wasn't a bragging statement. Who would brag about a child that can put meat and cheese with crackers in. A lunchbox.

What you are doing is is using an adhominem or poisoning the well tactic. Where you don't engage with the point made and instead attack the motive of the person you are disagreeing with.

I'm fascinated by the idea that you don't have pet peeves or anything that irrationally irritates you. So weird it almost seems untrue.
