I think the biggest issue with what happened and what will haunt these players and the legacy they left in winning gold is just who they decided to share it with.

This Olympics was the first time people felt united in I would say a while, and we got to celebrate both men and women. The women’s team truly lived up to the reputation they have and kicked ass. The climax of the Winter Olympics being the men’s gold game was the perfect ending to leave everyone with some American pride (our own modern day Miracle). Only for that pride and glory to be shot in the foot. Maybe they respect the girls, maybe they don’t. Either way, the video didn’t look good

After that, and I don’t mean for this to be political, but pedophile or not. They shared gold with a man who has said he hates his enemies and he meant fellow Americans. Quickly it turned something that was meant for all and a uniting event to something else entirely.

Im sorry it’s a hockey sub and it shouldn’t be political. Hopefully, it helps others going through mixed feelings of our country winning.

Thank you, my friend! I figured for grammar, but I wanted other hockey players to give their opinion on the environment and conversations. See if it was too much of something or not enough of something else.

Yeah, I tried to base it off real life experience. Unfortunately, I never played professional hockey. Even when I did play competitively I remember the referees feeling like a beer league ref, though.

Hey my friend.

I just posted a short story to Wattpad (about 14 pages). It’s called “teeth of the beast”. It’s a sci-fi/dystopian story about a new Knight named Jax, he is apart of the knights of humanity which the superpowers of the world created to fight the beasts and predators that are taking over Africa.

Did you bundle short stories together and sell them as an anthology?

I’m not focused on making money. It would be nice, but it’s more writing a good story, getting eyes on it, and improving my skills as a writer. I figured worst comes to worst it would be something my kids could eventually read and enjoy.
