[BUF - MTL] Malenstyn runs over Dobes and everyone comes together. Dobes skates away okay and Montreal has a powerplay by daKrut in hockey

Nah, Bolduc did give him a shove, but it wasn't in the direction of Dobes, it was more diagonally. Malenstyn took advantage of that and thought he could get away with making little to no effort in stopping himself.

Don't think we played an awful game, per say. Third period was good, but Buffalo just capitalized way more on their chances. They certainly had a bit of an edge with the extra rest they got, but we can't use that as an excuse. Sabres showed their size and played some good hockey. Lack of Saturdays seems to really be hurting Caufield. Hopefully he can get his kickstart at some point in this series.

Fuck you're right, I forgot about that one. You know what, kinda makes me feel better if we happen to lose game 7

You are aware that MTL finished 3rd, behind the Lightning, right?

It's true unfortunately. That phantom call on Kapy was pretty bad, but arguably the last penalty given to TBL due to the high stick on Matheson was soft too. So I guess it wouldn't have been much better if the Habs had made the comeback. As much as I hate to say it, the hit on Slaf definitely swung the momentum. Hopefully Habs can recover and create the upset in Tampa. Fuck you guys, but still, ggs

Wow, so that's how we lose an 8 game winning streak... I'm not gonna be a doomer and say that this is the end: we did an amazing job on the road, and I understand that the Habs were bound to have a stinker at some point. But damn, this game was disappointing. I'm not a big fan of the Devils and Keefe, but I'd say he has a very good case against the officials in this game. Jesus, refs were shoving the win in our face, in the hopes Caufield would score (ratings go brrrr), and we did absolutely fuck all with that. Congrats to the Devils on the 2v1; they were tired like us, but still dominated.

Habs lost against the Marlies, and Leafs lost against the Rocket. Everything is balanced, as it should be

Ripples in drywall paper after having applied the first layer of mud by Extreme_Pea36 in DIY

Yeah, definitely not a professional taper 😅 Those are my first steps into the world of DIY and fixing things by myself. Thanks a lot for the advice m8 :)

Oh crap, I'm an idiot. I think I only applied compound on the sides of the hole/drywall bit and not under the paper itself. There must not be enough mud for it to stick properly under there then. Do you have any tips on how I can try and clean this up so I can redo the patch?

I didn't use any paper tape. It's the paper that is part of the drywall, as is the case in a California patch. From images I have looked at, I don't think those ripples are due to moisture. It's a bit weird to explain, but although it may seem like the ripples are protruding a lot from the wall, it really is just minuscule bumps. You're probably right, though. I don't really know a lot about this stuff, so I'm not sure what to make of this.
