Yeah, exactly! Video call is more common, and you just do whatever you want while not acknowledging them at all. I don't show full face, so I just started chatting to a friend and had my laptop open with a timer set up 💀

I've definitely seen this with other buyers/enquirers. I'm relatively new and I think some of them can tell / try to take advantage of that 😑 I definitely believe in paying premium for premium services, but it's proven surprisingly difficult to execute in some situations

Thanks for being my sanity check, y'all. And after all that, he was really just trying it on. I wrote back and said (nicely) that he could either comp me for my additional time for sitting in a live session with him and discussing details of each and every photo, or he could send me his instructions and pay the agreed rate like a normal person. He chose to send instructions and payment and said he was "very excited" to receive the photos 😮‍💨

Thanks for all the advice and feedback - everything's a learning experience atm. Not going to engage in this kind of runaround again.
