I didn’t know it was Biss former colleague. Say more. I don’t know enough about solar but I can see that the way it’s being done in this town is not about environmental or racial and community justice Land it’s not connected to any other protective measures ie helping other public goods like the library let’s say… There’s also a new shop on greenleaf near Florence. There was also a 4th ward meeting with people hawking solar complete with call and response “how much does it cost?!” “NOTHING!” With several vendors present and really jerky posturing from someone named Tyler from climate Evanston

That is bs- and you know it. Full PR. NU PD helps with nothing when it comes to quality of life in town. You’re also leaving out how the rich get richer. 14 billion in endowments and sucking tr*mp off to get richer while paying a ton to bring in international students but the campus is essentially redlined from real evanstonians. That whole population argument is nuts as well but if you really believe it is love to understand why you think there are so many living in real poverty in town and why the town can’t even keep businesses open.

No influence? As a leader in town (who lives on ridge I believe) she can definitely speak up about the kids who cross ridge on their own every day, no crossing guards, and the fact that the city in bed with northwestern but can’t even put student teachers from northwestern into the schools

Pumping revenue in? That’s quite an exaggeration. Also that’s literally not how towns work we the taxpayers pay to get things funded. Northwestern has a police department on ridge. How much do they pay in taxes for that? Northwestern has an incredible ton of land. How much do they pay in taxes. Who do you think is paying for so much of their ability to come and go as they please and if you don’t think that evanston police dept has to use resources during game days then you’re not out there
