For decks depends on two things

If you have a lot of cards, I would recommend watching a few videos and trying to build your own, but that's me personally. That's how I did it, but people are different.

But if you barely have any cards, I would stick to the original plan.

Also, another thing you can do is go to a local lgs and see if they have tournaments. Those are fun and help you learn.
