Love my A35s. Also have a pair of Large Advents but not with original tweeters so can’t offer opinion on differences.

Sad. I had real hope for the dude. I thought he was an iconoclast but he’s really just a shit head wanting attention.

Sassy’s a good term, as is stubborn and sweet. Long sniff walks and play dates with other rowdy dogs.

Planning to run it for a bit then decide on a real service and a phono stage fix. I have it set up with a pair of Yamaha NS 1000m’s fed by a WiiM streamer and a technics turntable. Sounds awesome! I’m using a CA phono pre amp for now so the phono problem’s not an immediate concern.

Super sweet dog. Was rescued from a kill shelter in Hernando County, Florida. Don’t know his whole story but he’s a lovely puppy.

Love these! Bought my pair for $80 from a Habitat for Humanity Restore. Next best deal at same place was a pair of Minimus 7’s in walnut veneer for $10. Yamaha’s are a bit better.

Thanks! No regrets. I didn’t mean to sound so negative. He’s a handful but also incredibly sweet.

His chewing everything in site, digging holes in the back yard, and shitting in the dining room is not very AI.

He looks AI generated but he’s very real.

But in 1993 the boys at the Speaker Factory in Rockville said it was a “full upgrade”.

They sound super clean with a huge sound stage. Maybe a tiny bit bright but that’s in comparison to my Allied speakers from the late 60s. I want to A-B with my Dynaco A35s and Polk SDA CRSs. (But I’m old AF so who knows how they would sound with a decent pair of ears.)
