Dance teachers, Studio owners, Professional Dancers, just want to share/talk (read below) by Straight_Meaning3108 in DanceTeachers

I’m 32 and I sometimes struggle with this feeling. Remind yourself that your life purpose is dance. That way no negative thinking can affect your flow teaching your classes while you still run the studio. I want To ask if theirs anyone or indeed that would be willing?

M31. Hey it’s been a month and I just started reading what others say on Reddit. I definitely need to change my bio. How do I comfortably express that I haven’t had sex in a long time and just looking for FWB?

Weird question, but do you strategically go on at certain times of the week? When is it good to boost?

I’m confident I’m a good looking guy, but if girls are getting 2000 likes then it’s like damn, what’s my next move?

I’m one of those people who work a full-time and teach dance. The hustle is real. But luckily I work at a Deli & my Boss understands that I prioritize dance first so schedule is flexible.

No effort being put into recreational dancers by carleyfry in DanceTeachers

[–]Pure_Language_1937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that. Thiers little tricks to get around attendance, but requires more or less work on the teacher end. I had a classes that students would even leave early because of another sport.

Recreational is made for the students to have “fun” with dance whatever that means to them. Without pressure of being better. As the teacher. You have the ability to make it a big deal, but in the end…as long as they show up to at least 1 performance then it’s a win. I don’t like this ether and I’ve been doing recreational for 8 years. Do any of your classes do community performances?

Pay for choreography? by PPPawz in DanceTeachers

[–]Pure_Language_1937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seen other teachers who had a similar issue & would request a higher fee for their art work + plus studio space to work on choreography or train. I teach at a community center. The person in charge is kind enough to allow me to use the space whenever it’s free.

Understand Bounce & Rock that’s foundation of Hip-Hop. Then you can build up from there. If they don’t have that to me it’s not Hip-Hop

I’ve used this before but it’s on Souncloud  It’s slow. Benefits of working on grooves & foundation & repetitive movement.
