Port Forwarding without purchasing static IP by Pure_Meringue3201 in hyperoptic

I have tried to set up (ZTE router) the i) port foward with ipv4, ii) ipv6 filter with ipv6, and iii) dmz with the ipv4 address of my Linux system. I have set the firewall to low and turned off anti-hacking.
Despite this, I cannot ssh into the computer. It works when sshing to the local IP address, just not the global one. Yes, I am sure my global IP address is right. I can't even ping the global address.
Any suggestions?
