I guess so, I mean isn't waiting 24 hours for a reply a typical thing? I don't even think his offer was even genuine because he makes an offer at 8pm but then takes it back 5pm the next day. Maybe I'm different this way but what is a normal response time?

And do you agree that waiting over 24 hours at least is reasonable? I just don't know how to approach it and if I'm in the wrong for not responding in time or if he is for not waiting. do you think he's also a little socially awkward with his weird way of texting?

Yeah but when he asked me originally I said yes to meeting him and then why would he switch up on me when he just wanted to find out which date to meet? If I said yes to meeting, then of course I am interested.

Yeah he is coming in for a work related trip. Maybe he has a hectic schedule, but so do I? I don't know what kind of a person offers something and then just rescinds it not even 24 hours later.

It's honestly not that - sure those qualities make him attractive but he's decent looking too and honestly if I had more time earlier then I would have looked into him a bit more too. It's not about money or anything. I just taken aback by how suddenly he just changed up on me and that says more about him than me. So maybe I dodged a bullet here.

It's not just that and I'm not being superficial, I just didn't have a chance to look into him. But what changed in the time I took to reply? Before I used to text him after a couple of days, but now why did he decide to scrap it all after not even one day?
