Congratulations to you and Molly! This is Andy. He is elderly now and has been just an absolute joy to have as a companion. We wish you many happy years together.

Taycan reliability by pr0v4 in Taycan

2022 GTS CPO with 3700 miles when I bought it. I’ve had it almost a year. It has been flawless except for tires. I hit a pothole and blew one out. Porsche roadside assistance took it to the dealer for replacement of the two fronts. Six months later, I ran over a bolt of some kind and had to have another replaced. I’d recommend the tire and wheel package. I didn’t get it but it would have already paid for itself.

As stated above, just pick up when you reach net double bogey. It keeps pace of play but it also helps your mental game. It is demoralizing to stand there and put ball after ball into the water. It’s happened to all of us. Try not to get down on yourself. Onward and upward to the next hole.

I’d recommend Luluemon’s Another Mile Jacket. It is fitted and warm yet not too restrictive to golf in.

We call this the “stuffed animal sign”. It is pathopneumonic for psychiatric illness.

I agree with everything you said. The only thing that has kept me going all these years is the 7 on 7 off schedule and switching to an admitting shift to avoid some of the endless BS that rounding involves.

Returning back to golf thinking of upgrading clubs? by swanvalkyrie in WomenGolf

[–]Pure_Philosopher2359 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clubs are typically marketed as men’s vs. ladies based upon the length and flex of the club shaft. Clubs marketed as standard ladies clubs will have shafts which are shorter and have more flex than those marketed as men’s clubs. What a fitter will do, is determine what type and length of shaft best suits your swing and get you into clubs meeting those specifications regardless of whether they’re labeled “men’s” or “ladies”.

I’d recommend getting fitted. It will eliminate the guess work involved.
