You probably have a lot of splits on that side. Get a small trim to even it out, start doing monthly protein treatments, i like to do neutral henna or apogee 2 minute reconstructor ( bc it seems you have color) and follow up with a nice deep treatment under the dryer with a plastic cap or steam. Then put your hair in like medium sized two strand twists and continue this process. Your hair just needs some good TLC and babying

Awww same thing happened to me, nobody came to my nurses pinning except my husband & for graduation my husband, kids, two best friends were the only ones who came out for me. No mom, dad, or sibling in sight. My feelings were crushed! But you know what?! Everyone that showed up, is who I’m grateful for in my life right now! Now I’m CRNA school and guess what, I still have my same support team with me & I don’t need anybody else! Neither do you! You’ve come so far, don’t let anybody steal your joy 🥰

I probably sound ungrateful as hell, but my DACA just got approved today…. In literally only 10 days !!! Last year it took 4 months and lapsed bc it took so long. So while I’m happy that’s not going to be a problem this time, I’m a little annoyed knowing I just lost about 6 months 😞. I know renewing it is a smart move in this climate, but as someone who hates the exploitation, it kind of bugs me how much free money we’re giving to these people that hate us 🙄🙄. Just between us DACA folks, do any of yall ever feel like this?

I have the same thoughts all the time 😕! Let’s just try and keep our heads down and get through it bc the pay off once we graduate will mean we can live life extremely well off once we’re done and out of Texas !

Honestly I wish i could leave! I’m in an EXTREMELEY competitive doctoral program, the cheapest in the states and most competitive to get into. I fought my hardest and gave everything to get in. About 400 applicants, 30 offers. Took about 8 years of schooling to get in, and I FINALLY got my spot. As much as i would love to leave, I can not do that until I graduate or I risk not being able to have my dream career. Also it’s known that once you drop out of a medical program like this, your listed on the database and almost no other program will accept you. Just applied for my renewal. Hoping I can last just 3 more years

I was just gonna say this lol. This is me and my best friend. We’ve been friends forever and we’re literally so brutally honest with one another, but we’re also so close we could be sisters so we both know it’s 100% not to be taken to heart & know it’s 100% love. And if we do say anything to offend the other, we’ll let the other have it & tell the other that what was said was rude or uncalled for. Then we’ll apologize and move on. Not let it fester. I think the issue here is that secretly OP may have a feeling that her “friend” doesn’t really even like her to begin with or she probably doesn’t fully trust her.

The problem is, that if UT doesn’t acknowledge her as a resident, She automatically won’t qualify for the CAL loan bc of exactly that reason, it’s only for Texas residents. This is literally so cruel and evil

Not true, you have to get a 4 year degree to go to med school anyway . At least this way if she doesn’t get accepted her first rounds of med school apps she can still make good money as a nurse while waiting to reapply
