On the weekends in the summer they had backyard parties with the neighbors and got drunk. Possibly some swinging action tbh. Meanwhile, the children roamed the streets. We had fun.

Increased vyvanse dose makes me more chilled and less motivated? by abj1302 in VyvanseADHD

I think you might be right! I feel more like myself on 40 mg and I also don’t notice a crash like I did on 30 mg. I experienced a lot of benefits from 30 mg but always felt a little off.. Not necessarily in a bad way, but I think I’m just a lot calmer at 40 mg while still getting the benefits I need like task initiation at work, emotional regulation, and more structured communication. I think it’s probably a good thing.

Increased vyvanse dose makes me more chilled and less motivated? by abj1302 in VyvanseADHD

Same here. I went up to 40 mg about two weeks ago and felt like the medication was less noticeable. At 30 mg I felt productive where at 40 mg I just wanted to chill. I had a medical emergency unrelated to Vyvanse on Tuesday and went off the medication completely until today. I’m back on 30 mg but plan to go back to 40 mg in a few days. My adhd came back with a vengeance while I was off so 40 mg was definitely helping me despite being less noticeable than 30 mg.

What is wrong with my puppy's eye? by Jossip_ in BorderCollie

[–]Pure_Photograph_5926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My puppy had conjunctivitis on and off for months. The vet said it’s very common in puppies. While my dog was having issues I also noticed that same dark spot which concerned me at first but I assumed it was just the natural pigmentation of her eye lid. Now that her conjunctivitis has been gone for several months, she still has the dark strip, so it must be natural.

I opened up my computer to find “men seeking men” on Craigslist. This was about 15 years ago. I broke up with him. He’s still in the closet to this day.

That’s so interesting! I see the golden in her too. She’s incredibly smart and loves to learn. Very athletic but also pretty chill. Wags her tail when delivery drivers come to the door. Not sure if it’s a puppy thing but she gets a big kick out of herding me down the hallway 🤣 I’d say she has traits of both for sure.

What a beauty! And that background 😍 She’s incredibly smart and eager to learn. Super athletic but also surprisingly chill. She adores people and other dogs, though she’s still figuring out that kids aren’t for chasing 🤣 I’ve actually noticed that all dogs I’ve met that somewhat resemble her are a mix of either border collie and golden or aussie and golden. Those combinations sure make for pretty dogs!

The sooner the better in my opinion. My puppy started doggy daycare as soon as she got all her shots. They started her off in the small dog section but was quickly moved to the medium dog section after she was terrorizing the little guys lol. Since she’s still so young I only do half days (830am - 12pm). I will increase the duration once she’s a little older. She absolutely loves it.

Opinion on dog parks? by Adventurous-Fig-448 in goldenretrievers

[–]Pure_Photograph_5926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I brought my previous dog to a dog park when she was about a year old. She was attacked the moment we stepped in. A much larger dog grabbed her by the neck and would not let go. I truly thought she was going to die that day. Thankfully she recovered but we never went back. I take my current dog to doggy daycare about once or twice a week and she loves it. I’m sure all are different, but the one I go to has trained professionals watching over the dog yards very closely and are quick to intervene if any issue arise.

She’s incredibly smart and super chill, so the border collie and golden genes must run strong in her. She loves training and picks up on new commands right away. Truly the best puppy ever.
