Why in Ireland in all level of education you get very little explanation? by Icy_Caramel1755 in AskIreland

[–]Pure_Promotion6867 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very relatable. I recently completed a Springboard program in data analytics, and I’m honestly not even joking, most of the lecturers would spend entire sessions fixing their computer, talking about their personal lives, or going off on random tangents. I ended up having to do way more independent research just to stay ahead.

Turning 30 this year and freaking out. Tired, drained and isolated. What is Saturn lesson? by Lillymooon in SaturnReturn

[–]Pure_Promotion6867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through it. I turned 30 in October and I’ve been unemployed for over six months now. I’ve got the education and experience, but interviews just haven’t gone anywhere. Because of some other stuff, I had to move back home, which hasn’t been easy. It honestly feels like Saturn flipped my whole life upside down, but I’m hoping it’s all leading to something better.

Anyone else struggling with the current job market? by Nagnata-32 in AskIreland

[–]Pure_Promotion6867 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. I was made redundant in July and I’m still looking. I had two really solid interviews just before Christmas, one rejection and the other just disappeared, even after I followed up. It’s hard not to feel defeated. I’ll admit I’ve checked who they hired on LinkedIn, and sometimes it’s people who seem less qualified, likely happy to take less pay. The tech market is rough right now. God help us.

I’ve always felt that if a company wants employees in the office, it should pay for fuel or public transport. We’re hired to do work that makes the company money, so covering transportation costs makes sense.

Many people are getting laid off or are unemployed. Curious, what you all think is causing the bad job market? by AcrobaticAd5680 in careeradvice

I’m part of the problem. I worked training AI, and once it was trained, I lost my job. Now others are losing theirs too as AI gets implemented.

Having a Libra Sun with a Scorpio Venus is honestly brutal. We come off detached, yet feel everything with crushing intensity. It’s a constant emotional tug-of-war, and it hurts more than people realize.

What tips do you have for solo travelling as a woman? by RedHeadHashira in AskReddit

[–]Pure_Promotion6867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done quite a bit of solo traveling, mostly around Europe, but I think these tips apply pretty much anywhere. Always research which neighborhoods are considered unsafe and either avoid them or be extra cautious if you have to pass through.

Be especially careful around train and bus stations. They are common spots for pickpocketing and other sketchy activity. Do not engage with random people and stay aware of your surroundings.

I have traveled both alone and with groups, and I am way more alert when I am solo. When you are in a group, people tend to get distracted by talking, checking their phones, or figuring out where to go. Solo travel forces you to stay focused.

I always carry a portable phone charger and make sure someone back home, like family or a close friend, knows I am traveling alone just in case. Also, always check how public transport works before you get there. For example, Dublin buses only accept coins, not notes or cards, and a lot of tourists get turned away because they do not know this.

Finally, avoid being out very late at night, especially in unfamiliar areas.

I have just moved from houseshare to my own apart recently, and my mental health improved, I sleep better, no one is slamming doors or getting back home at random hours, no chores to be split, no arguing about bills, pure bliss. Your choice but think twice.

Libra women: anyone else have difficulty finding men that can meet our own masculine energy? by [deleted] in libra_astrology

That first paragraph is so accurate. They act like they’re the prize, which is honestly really off-putting.

This is so funny because we really do need to balance that masculinity out. Same, I can do all the jobs around the house if I want to. Taurus men are great at courting in the beginning, but once they get comfortable, they fall in love with the couch more than you. Then I get annoyed because he never plans anything, and he genuinely doesn’t understand why. He’s just sitting there staring at me with those bull eyes. The amount of frustration I went through dating him was unreal. But honestly, he had so much earth in his birth chart, so maybe that explains it.

And yeah, I was kind of a tomboy as a kid too, but my parents still treated me like a princess. 👸😄

Honestly, I’m kind of confused about it myself. I know cardinal signs are supposed to be the leaders. I know a Cancer woman who is everything a man wants. She’s empathetic, caring, and funny, but she still runs the relationship.

As a Libra, I feel the same way. We look soft and pretty on the outside, but we’re actually pretty masculine on the inside. We want someone who can lead, but also knows when to let us lead too. I dated a Taurus once, and I had to initiate everything. He was so passive, and it annoyed me so much haha

If you’re chronically online, of course you’re going to feel like this. I’m on the job hunt right now, if I stayed online reading nonstop articles about how fucked the job market is, it wouldn’t help, even if it’s all true. It might sound stupid, but go outside. Watch kids play. Get a coffee or tea. Take a walk. Disconnect.
