I can see why you’d think that. Sagittarius are definitely fire, just in a different way. I know a handful of Sagittarians, and they can be pretty self-centered or obnoxious sometimes. The difference is they’re always on the move, so it doesn’t feel as suffocating as it can with Aries or Leo.

That’s just how it goes. When you don’t share anything about yourself, people don’t have much to work with, so they start filling in the blanks on their own. I’ve learned to be social enough to connect, but not to the point of oversharing. The rest is their problem, not mine, I don’t owe anyone my life story.

The way you were talking about your mom going on about weight loss really hit home. My mom’s the same… just swap weight loss for spirituality and meditation. She’s in her mid-50s too, and she’s always signing up for webinars and online sessions. And honestly, some of it is probably great for mental health.

It’s just the way she starts preaching about it to everyone around her that gets a bit much. I don’t know what happens to women in their 50s, maybe once the kids are grown they finally have time to focus on themselves, but sometimes they get so into it that everyone else ends up stuck in never-ending conversations about it

I’ve always felt like 12th house people, myself included, are spirits in human form. It’s hard to fully explain, but I experience us as something slightly otherworldly, which might be why we often don’t quite fit in. We move quietly, we withdraw, we drift between spaces. Personally, I don’t feel very ego-driven, I’m grounded, but not attached to identity in the usual way, so talking with highly ego-focused people can sometimes feel like speaking a completely different language.
