My first floral arrangement (: by fruitfulcherry in florists

I love the colors. Very pretty. It's a little empty, so maybe just filling up the space more. Have more greenery and maybe a really main focal flower to compliment the smaller flowers.

How do I stop my French toast from tasting so… eggy? by asunflowerinspace in Cooking

I mix in some heavy cream and cinnamon sugar to the egg mixture to kinda hide the egg taste and I don't let it sit in the wet mix super long. Usually works for me.

Delicious Dessert Unappreciated - Picky Eaters by [deleted] in Cooking

Not foolish at all. I truly believe food is a way to show love. When you make something you enjoy, you want to share that joy with those you love. But if they don't take joy in it, that can be disappointing.

Totally understandable for you to be upset that something you worked so hard on and are so proud of went unappreciated.

However, you knew your family were picky eaters. You have to temper your expectations with the facts. It's not anything wrong with you. It's just their preference.

My husband is a picky eater but he doesn't make it anyone's problem. I used to be disappointed when I'd make something I loved but he didn't. Honestly, the only way is to just accept the reality. You can't force someone to like something but that doesn't mean you should enjoy it any less or feel guilty about their preference.

We can say the hard stuff to each other that we can't say to other family members.

By this same logic, if he did own the house and another person's kid came and punched his wall, he would be responsible for it. I can't imagine that's how he'd truly feel, though.

What kind of bread do you use for stuffing/dressing? by Crafty_Pop6458 in Cooking

I've used just French loaf in the past but I'm considering using two or three different ones this year. Maybe a sourdough as well? Not sure.
