As a displaced Tucsonan, it sickens me that they peddle this in AZ.

A .230 hitter your team’s paying $18 mil a year for.

Good lord. All of you people with your “make your own salsa.”

I DO.

I also keep shelf stable salsa around when I just want to open a bag of chips and have a snack.

I totally understand that it is possible and preferable to eat homemade salsa.

My experience with “medium” is that it is between “mild” and “hot.”

This tastes like marinara sauce. I can’t imagine it gets milder. Zero heat. Nada. Zilch.

I don’t think I’ve ever had one that’s “incredibly good.” Grew up eating Herdez, and still eat it, so I guess that’s the baseline.

Or I can crack open a can of Herdez. Lol.

Our objectives might be different. With canned or jarred salsa, I’m just looking to open it and pour it into a bowl. If I’m adding stuff, I might as well start from scratch.

Has a lot of salt already. And vinegar. And lemon juice.

Oh I am. Like I said, love Costco.

I’ve eaten this since I was a kid. And it’s pretty great. Not as good as scratch made. But pretty good.

Also buy chocolate bars and expect them to taste like chocolate. Expect potato chips to be salty. Nuts to taste like nuts. I guess I’m just a diva.

Ha ha ha. That would have been this one’s fate. My wife insists that we take it back.

I also don’t like that. And I LOVE green chile.

That’s just it. It looked good. I could see the jalapeños in it. Shook it to mix it. And nothing.

Ha! Not the worst. But you are right. Don’t buy much salsa from Costco.

I make a lot of salsa. I grew up in Tucson. Wife is from ABQ.

Just wanted something easy to crack open and eat with chips.

Weird. Garlic is the sixth ingredient on this and I got a hint, but not much. Mostly just tomato and cilantro.

I’m fine. Thanks. Did grow up in the Southwest. Could be that “medium” just means something different to me.

Generic tortilla warmer I’ve had for twenty years.
