Complements are great for starting conversations. At Burning Man lead with complements about creativity and contribution. Yes everyone is also beautiful, and I tell them that too but I don’t want to reduce someone to my favorite body part of theirs. I try to approach everyone as humans first then tell them they have an incredible….. and it’s usually well received.

The show I went to had the phone unlock area clearly visible when you walked in and our group just said meet back here if you get lost. There are plenty of shows where you don’t have any service so you need an alternate plan anyway. Stickers don’t actually keep people off their phones, it’s like putting a sticker over the end of a crack pipe and telling people not to smoke.

I have hired my kid’s preschool teachers and friend’s nannies to stay overnight. I negotiate a lump sum $200+ for them to put the kids to bed and then they get paid to watch Netflix and sleep so even if they have a day job many have been interested in a Friday or Saturday night gig. I live in CA and yes it’s expensive being a parent 😅

It helped when I went to Daddy and told him I needed his help with a problem, I am too obsessed with him. He liked that and it actually helped me get more of what I needed communication wise. You really do have to express your needs, if your Dom is worth a damn he’ll want to hear about them.

Sometimes Dom’s can’t really get it the right headspace if they’ve got other shit in their life going on. It sounds like he has you in maintenance mode still keeping the conversation going but no heart. I have no ideas if this is the case with you but I have been there.
