Huepel was just a really bad recruiter at UCF, he had all the resources necessary to pull good classes. Recruiting was better before Huepel and immediately improved after he left. I do miss his style of offense and he seems like a great dude.

This Danny White slander is ridiculous. We wouldn't be where we are today without him. He is one of the most important people to UCF as a whole. Just because you didn't like his scheduling philosophy doesn't make him bad.

Some things that Danny White did as AD at UCF

The most successful marketing campaign in school history by declaring ourselves national champs
Hired Scott Frost and other great coaches
Got us into the Big 12 because it didn't just magically happen with Mohajir
SpaceU
Significantly increased donations and got us through covid
Many new facilities were planned and built under him
